Rated 5 out of 5Â by Marcy The perfect solution the the concrete around our pool.
Originally painted 7 years ago with a different product that never had the anti slip feature, so was scary getting out of the pool. With Sure Step, I feel more confident and love the outcome. Wish there were more color options, but overall, we couldn't be happier.

Easy to apply, dries quickly, good coverage. Great for cold weather to ensure a positive grip especially for steps and side walks. The pearl gray was darker color than expected. Next time I would add a lighter tint to it.

This paint covered my concrete floor in basement REALLY well! It was very easy to apply and went on like butter. It covered every blemish! It's been down for 2 weeks only, not a lot of traffic in area and only one room but it looks really nice. It would be nice if you could purchase flakes to jazz it up.
I intend to use it on my entire basement floor. I used the pearl gray, when after I received, thought it might be too dark. But it looks wonderful!

I read the reviews before purchasing this product so I knew the outcome would be good. It dries very quickly so you have to work fast. I did try pouring it directly onto the surface as suggested in the directions but it went on too thick and dried before it could be properly spread leaving the outline of the puddle. A good old fashioned paint tray and roller worked best. Since I used it for a slippery driveway I didn't park on it for a week. Not sure yet how it handles hot tire pick up but my main purpose was to prevent someone from slipping and injuring themselves. It seems to have done the trick. It has great traction even when wet. Excellent value since it's no more expensive than regular concrete paint.

We used Sure Step on a part of a warehouse floor that gets wet and slippery. To the bare concrete slab, we first applied a concrete primer/masonry filler to a clean, dry floor then the Sure Step. Sure Step was very thick but applied smoothly with a roller as directed. We applied two thin coats of Sure Step. In our application, the Sure Step covered a much larger area than expected. (We returned the third can to the local Home Depot with our online receipt with no problems.)
The result looks very nice and not slippery at all when wet! We are very impressed with the results.
