Answer:
The hole that you drill should be one half inch deeper than your anchor will need. Clean the hall out very thoroughly before inserting your anchor.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Used these to fasten a 2x8 ledger for a deck to some hollow and some filled concrete block. I was a bit skeptical at first but they all gripped the block securely and the washer head countersunk nicely into the wood. Far better luck with these than i typically have with redhead sleeve anchors. Will be using these on my low level deck projects in the future. February 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These concrete anchors are extremely easy to use and work great. These concrete anchors are extremely easy to use and work great. I used a plain ratchet to screw them into the concrete pad after drilling and clearing the holes and the action of the threads was surprisingly smooth after the first few turns. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Solution The Tapcon Concrete Anchor is a convenient option for floor mounting garage equipment and just about anything that needs to be anchored. I found that with a cleanly drilled hole, the anchor bolt goes down easy and holds securely, even in asphalt. September 2, 2014
