Customer Reviews

#35 Blank Toyota Universal Key is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will only open door and/or trunk - this is not a security key Another reviewer complained that this key caused his car to read it as 'theft'. This key is not designed to work in the ignition. That takes a special key blank with a transponder built into it. That is no fault of this key. This ordinary blank will only work in the trunk or door locks. FYI. Unless you are adventurous and somewhat tech savy, you will need to go to a locksmith or dealer to get an ignition key cut and programmed. Cost will probably be $75 to $100. If you are brave enough to search the web to find the right blank, get it cut, and if your car is of the year models that allow programming without special equipment, you might do it for around $10.
