Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Be Careful, top metal latches can fall off This is a great inexpensive toolbox, but the top metal latches can fall off the box while the lid is open and upside down. The top latches slide into a groove and are not permanently affixed to the box. My tool box now only has one latch working, because one of the top metal latches fell off while the box was open and I can not locate it. No big deal, just be careful, replacement latches are not available at Home Depot! April 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great storage for a low price! The tool box is light and durable for an inexpensive price. I have one that I have used for ten years and it still does the job! September 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent, simple, economical home or car-trunk toolbox Keep in mind the price ($8.97 as of 09/08/2015), this is an eminently serviceable light- to medium-duty toolbox. If having to work two latches instead of just one bothers you; or if you can't live with a lid that flips all-the-way back; or with pin-less plastic pop-on hinges that are reasonably sturdy and reliable (and easily popped-back-on again); then spend more money. Or if, at 19", it's just too bulky for you. Also, the store labels mine came with (not illustrated here) with all peeled off easily. September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Lightweight tool box that works great. Easy to open and easy to carry. Love the removable tool tray. not big, but great for organizing smaller items. Works great as a craft box too! September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Box! I keep this box in the back of my explorer.. has enough room for a Rachet Set, My Rigging Knife,Gloves, Channel Lock Pliers, Vise Grip Plier, and assorted hand tools that come with me from the truck to the sailboat i'm restoring... after an afternoon of working on the boat, everything comes back with me in case I need to fix something at home. The lift out Tray keeps thing organized.. Great little toolbox!! September 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good box for $10 It's a good box for light weight stuff. I have some doubt if it can handle a lot of heavy tools. The latches seem like they could pop open if the box is loaded too heavy. You'll be able to tell when the box is loaded too heavy and not to put any more stuff in. The handle is good, I've seen cheaper ones. The tray is ok. I like the orange color because it's easy to see. For $10, it's a ok box and good enough for my needs. August 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Homer changed quality and size The new Homer toolbox provides no additional space by cubic inch, a tray that is smaller than the previous toolbox and a width that no longer fits well in tight spaces. The quality of the hinges has also been downgraded with only three hinges rather than the four we had before. The quality of the box itself is also cheaper with the locking clasps more like foil than hard metal. Overall, this new Homer is irritatingly junky. I hope HD doesn't covert all their products to similar quality reductions. August 7, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Good value for my money. ...I like that the color is orange....makes me see my tool box where ever I place it. Surprisingly roomy and I was able to fit lots of my stuff. August 21, 2015
