Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product and would recommend to anyone. Purchased this mower in June 2010. I mow several yards and this has been a great product. This was my first zero turn and absolutely love it. Has held up well even for as much mowing as I do with it. I use it at least 5 hours of mowing time a week and sometimes in rough terrain. The only complaints I have are that the front bearings wore out rather quickly. Also there are no grease fittings for the blade housing. Although I haven't had any problems with it yet, it just makes me concerned. April 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just got it yesterday first time use took a little getting use to. but not hard to learn. cut my lawn in no time, much faster then my lawn tractor. Time will get faster as I get to learn how to run it well. Great machine. will update if any change as time goes on August 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific mower. Mower has had 72 hours of use over 4 years. Very ependable and a pleasure to use. The Kowasaki engine is powerful and quiet. No problem starting. The mulcher option is a number of baffles under the deck that force the clippings to remain airborne longer than usual and get chopped into tiny particles by the 18,000 rpm blades. That creates a vacuum that lifts anything that is not solidly attached to the ground. It's great for grass, but if you haven't had rain in a while and the ground is very dry, it also lifts topsoil, gravel, and sand and causes a cloud of debris that engulfs the mower AND the driver. On those dry days, I feel like Pigpen in the Peanuts comics when I finish mowing, covered with fine dirt particles. (It is an excellent mulcher.) In the spring, having blown lot of leaves into large piles at the perimeter of the yard, I'll drive the mover into those piles and create an unbelievably rich mulch that I use around the yard. It should get 6 stars just for that. August 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Deck height adjustment and deck wheel position needs redesign! The deck height adjustment and deck wheel position needs redesign! On my SS4260 every time the deck is bumped or the left side deck wheel gets bumped the deck height adjustment brackets come loose from where they are mounted to the frame. This causes a lot of downtime to repair. In my opinion the level adjusting rod should have some type of anchor to hold it in the blocks on the frame. I am in the process of getting my SS4260 brought to my local factory repair center to see what can be done about this problem. Aside from the deck problem this is a great mower. The drive wheels could be a bit wider, they are rather narrow and have a tendancy to bog down and get stuck on damp ground. A wider tire would proberably solve this issue. June 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great mower Easy to use. Feels solid and stable. Mows great, high vac stands the grass and picks up the leaves for a manicured cut. Constructed very well. Choice of engine brands. Like the Kaw. February 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I wish I would have gotten this years ago I entered the zero steer market with caution and wanted a machine with a commercial quality engine and one that cut and bagged well. I had a Honda rider before that did very well. However the Toro Z4235 with the 22 hp Kawasaki engine far exceeded my expectations. What a machine. It bags way better than my Honda did and mows 10 times faster. It is fun too, once you get the hang of it. I highly recommend this mower. It also has one of the better warranties in the industry, which says it will last. The seat is very comfortable. The only thnig I wish it had is lights. The Home Depot representative were very helpful, knowledgeable as they have used the product, and friendly. I am one who researches to the extreme. Toro and Home Depot definitely made my experience fun and rewarding. I highly recommend this mower. May 2, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this mower I finally got my zero turn Toro and I love it. With 3/4 of an acre, I can knock it out in 35 minutes. After a short learning curve it is a breeze to control. I also got the twin bagger and mulch kit. I installed the bagger myself in about 40 minutes and it is a snap to remove which I have to do to put it in my shed. Got up all the leaves easily. Cleanup is easy by attaching the water hose to the deck and run it for a couple of minutes. Can not find anything to complain about. December 31, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great design, fun and effective machine. I ordered this with the bag collection and after putting this all together, was really impressed by the smart design. The bagging is equal and collection effective and the unloading of material a piece of cake. I love this little mower and seems to be built strong. Spend the extra dough for the Kawasaki Engine. With this, it will last for decades! One little negative.. Toro, I heard your nuts and bolts were off in size and number for the bag attachment and I agree.. I made it work but not without some compromise. Fix this and you will have all 5 stars! April 8, 2014
