This product was very easy to apply and dried quickly. I have been using this on my own lumber cut from my own trees, which have been drying naturally indoors for about 7 years. The wood soaked it up. I did find that if you lay two boards/beams together to stack after applying this product, they tended to "stick" together, even though they were completely dry. So once you seal the lumber, I don't recommend stacking it on top of each other. I cannot comment yet as to whether or not how well it works or how long it will work, I just used it Summer of 2015 on my porch project. I am hoping to have great results as far as sun resistance and weather resistance. I have a feeling I will have to treat my lumber again in a year or two. Not that the product has shown me flaws, just my gut feeling on products like this. I did apply 2 coats to everything. When I sprayed the ceiling and rafters, I made sure to apply pretty thick as well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Roger Clear, Odorless, Non-toxic shield of protection with little effort.
I am little sensitive to harsh chemicals and the fact that It's advertised as a great non-toxic coating, I decided to buy it. It indeed is exactly that and bonus is that no strong paint stench. It is easy to coat and did not take long to dry once the sun is out. It was little sticky when wet so avoid using your deck for that time and plan it accordingly. It may take little longer to dry if the weather is cloudy or colder. Once completed and dry, it is clear and looks nice. As an added bonus, it enhances the wood grain appearance.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sdgiant Thick Finish, Beads Well
APPEARANCE: Shinier than I'm used to from a sealer. Almost created a shellac-like shell around the wood, rather than just soaking in. I don't mind it at all for the stairs, but I would apply carefully to deck boards or furniture. Brush strokes or streaks will show in the finish.
APPLICATION: Very different from other wood sealers I've used (which soak in completely). Although very liquid in the can, its thickness is immediately apparent when you apply it. As you can see in the pictures, it is thick enough to create an uneven finish if you aren't careful. Make sure you wipe away any excess within a few minutes, as it does dry quickly.
SMELL: Not bad at all. Doesn't have the strong smell of a stain, just a light smell of glue or maybe a non-VOC paint.
SEAL: Very good so far. It rained two days after application. Water beaded up nicely. Given the thicker finish I expect the beading effect to last longer than other sealers.

The only problem with this product is that it can't be shipped to Oregon? Why I don't know
So I had to ship it to Wasington and drive all the way up there to pick it up, talk about wasting gas!!!
Otherwise it's great, used it on the inside of some planter boxes I made, that's why I wanted Non Toxic No Voc, didn't want it leaching to the veggies we planted.

Wood sealer was applied with a brush, looked opaque when wet but dried clear. Wood boards have a natural looking satin finish with this product.

This sealant works very well. It looks white and milky in the can but dries completely clear. The fact that it's non-toxic and VOC free is definitely an added bonus.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kristy awesome stuff!
This sealer has a very faint, almost no smell. It will work to seal almost anything, even plastic! I called and talked to the manufacturers and they are super helpful and nice. Wish I could just go to the store and buy it and wish it was a little cheaper. Seems like it will go a long way though!

Don't have enough time with the product to make a complete recommendation. It goes on easily, cleans up easily and doesn't have a bad smell. Too soon to tell how well it protects the wood.
