While I'm sure that this works well for its intended purpose as a gutter guard, I purchased it to make a grille to fill a space above the front bumper of my truck, which was an open invitation for rocks or other debris to hit the radiator. A nice ready-made grille was around $150, so I thought I'd take a chance on this mesh for less than 1/10 the price. I wrapped some rubbery edge material around the perimeter of the mesh after cutting it to fit, and it worked perfectly - I just zip-tied it in place. And since this is a 5-pack, I have plenty of spare material in case it ever gets damaged. The black powder-coated finish looks great.

I bought this product to prevent leaves and other airborne debris from filling up the gutters on my house and subsequently clogging the downspouts. The guards were easy to install and do indeed prevent most of the leaves and pine needles from reaching the gutters, but only by catching the stuff in the mesh of the guards themselves, as shown in the photograph. I used to have to hire someone to clean the gutters once a year. Now I have to hire someone to clean the gutter guards.

This was recommended by a person who installed gutters. It was easy to install and works great. We have had some heavy rain and leaves are starting to fall. I does great for letting the water in the gutter and the leaves out.

I am very picky about what goes into/onto my house and these gutter guards are great. Built in the US! Affordable, easy to install. Cuts easily with tin snips for making corners. Happy.

After researching various brands/designs of gutter guards, I settled on this one. The price is very reasonable and the product appears to be well constructed and durable, as it is made of powder-coated metal. Other brands have design flaws that either don't allow water to flow well through it, allow debris through it, aren't aesthetically pleasing and/or can blow away with strong winds.
After receiving the product and first installing it, I discovered that my gutters were not exactly the same "K-type" that the guard is best suited for. This was not a problem since the guard is easily bendable and can be cut quickly and easily with wire cutters. Instead of laying the back of the guard on top of the back of the gutter, I simply tucked the back of the guard underneath the shingles above and then snapped the front of the guard onto the front of the gutter as described in the instructions. This may actually work better since the guard is at a slant (instead of flat) and will more easily allow debris to fall off of it rather than get stuck on top of it. As long as your gutters are 5-inches wide, you should be able to get these installed. The only time you really need to cut them is at the end of the gutter or on corners.
So far, this product seems to work well. It allows water to freely flow through it and into the gutter, blocks larger debris (such as leaves) from getting through and is firmly attached to the gutter without coming loose on windy days. The guard may let smaller debris (such as tree seeds, very small leaves and shingle "sand") to get through and as so may need some periodic maintenance, but it is easy to spray water through it and clear anything like that out.
As an alternative to the very expensive "gutter helmet" guards, this product is probably the best value and the most effective out there.
