Best hose I have had - all others kink or split. Full rubber and quality connections/hardware made it an easy choice. I hooked two together to make an even longer hose (100 ft.) because it only came in a 50 ft. size. Wish Home Depot also carried a shorter 25 ft. version of this hose.

A bit on the expensive side but well worth the cost. Great flexibility, no kink, easy roll up and storage.

This is definitely one of the worst hoses I have every had. If you coil it in any way it will kink horribly unless you carefully uncoil it. The hose it replaced rarely kinked, even after having been left outside in the Texas sun for years (I finally had to replace it because the hand sprayer corroded onto it). This hose started kinking as soon as I removed the packaging and began coiling it into our hose basket. And it has had multiple kinks every time I have used it. After only 3 weeks I am looking to replace it.

This hose is rugged, and remains flexible in all temperatures. will not split if left outside with water in it and it freezes. It will kink, (thus only 4 stars) but if you can deal with that it is a good looking and functional hose.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by StephofEasley It kinked in 3 places its first time out
I finally broke down and bought this new hose. I was using it to hook up a sprinkler and run it to the front of my lawn. I removed the packaging and started stretching it out and it kinked, so I got that out and it kinked again, and again. Not kinking is the most important thing to me in a hose. I got aggravated with it and decided to leave it out in the yard for a minute while I worked elsewhere in the yard. It must have a smell dogs love or something because within 5 minutes, my dog completely bit through it in 4 different places, so I couldn't even return it. I don't expect a hose to withstand a dog bite, but I do expect it not to kink when brand new.

Ok got this hose last season. It is kink resistant and over all a good hose. When I got this hose I thought this will be the last one I get, since it was a good year. Boy was I wrong, I came home one day this winter and hear the water running. I thought my hose bibb split, I was wrong it was the good year hose and water was just gushing. I was an exceptionally cold winter this year, so that could have a little to do with it. I plan on using the warrant to get a replacement if I can find out how. I'm definitely going to give it another try. It's not like I can go out and find a hose that won't burst and who can you trust more than good year.

This hose is the best hose that I've ever bought, still going strong after 9 years!
I use hoses most of the year on a daily basis, I've tried at least 5 or 6 different hoses that were more than disappointing; between kinking, leaking, not connecting with other hoses without leaking, just a general pain.
I initially purchased 2 50 ft GoodYear hoses, after seeing how well they worked, I started replacing all of the other hoses, I now have 7 50 ft hoses, and will not use anything other than GoodYear Hoses.

I've owned a Goodyear Rubber hose for over 30 years, and it is still going strong. Never, ever kinks or leaks. My only complaint is that it's like trying to wrestle an anaconda. It's heavy! But it refuses to die.
