The Outdoor Wood Bench will bring comfortable and durable seating to your garden or landscape. Crafted from High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea), this outdoor bench can withstand the trials of sun and rain as it sits on your porch or patio. The seat consists of three sections of contoured slats. The backrest has a dignified style with its decorative cut-out design. The uniquely curved and carved armrests capture your attention and keep you comfortable as you relax in the beauty of the outdoors. High Density Eucalyptus (or also known as Shorea in our line) is the premium grade of solid Eucalyptus Gradis hardwood, grown in 100% well managed forests in Brazil. There is little difference between High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) and Teak when broken down to their core essence. The biggest attribute of High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) is undoubtedly the strength of the timber. It is renowned for its excellent resistance to every day wear and tear. It is extremely durable and tightly grained to produce a desirable density. It remains unaffected by all variations in weather, especially its resistance to damp conditions makes itself extremely competent at combating insect attacks and decay.

  • Wooden bench is expertly kiln-dried and extremely durable for outdoor/indoor use
  • High density eucalyptus (shorea) is mold, mildew, fungi, termites, rot and decay-resistant and is also environmentally-friendly and harvested from protected forests

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great solid bench Great bench. Ordered online and had it shipped to store for free. Easier to assemble than I had anticipated. Have received multiple compliments! December 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this bench Great bench for what I had planned. Didn't put it in the garden; instead put a bit of white paint on it, antiqued it, plopped some decorative pillows and it now serves as seating on one side of my kitchen table! Looks awesome and everyone loves it! September 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by garden detail Bench is nice looking but came in slightly damaged in some spots, not enough to mess with a return. We will see if the bench weathers well and have high hope it will last some years. December 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eucalyptus Wood Seating Bench When I was shopping for patio benches, I selected three and compared them. Then, I bought this one because in the COMPARISON SECTION it said that no assembly was required. Not so. Although there were few pieces to put together, and two Allen wrenches were included, it was impossible for me to turn the screws (I'm a 68 year-old wimp). So, I had to go to the store and buy a drill bit to fit the screws. With the aid of my electric drill, I was able to put everything together in minutes. The color is a bit orang-y, but I'm hoping that the weather will soften the color as it does for teak. It's a good bench for the price, and my cats seem to like it because they sit on it often. After all, I did buy it for them. September 27, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Price and quality are about right. Needs finishing. The price is half what a good teak bench would cost, with the curved backrest piece being slightly less stiff than I would prefer for an outdoor piece of furniture. It needs sanding (220 grit) and a coat of teak oil. It seems likely to throw some splinters along the way, but for the price the design, quality, rough finish and build seem fair. If you want something better, you need to pay more. September 21, 2013
