Before buying this read the instructions on their website! There are so many rules for this bag from overhead wires to weight to placement etc. There are many rules on the website and others in the packaging. If you do not have an open area on your lawn or driveway (where a truck with crane can enter) don't bother getting this. Although the packaging rules state not to, I read some reviews that you can place it on the street at your own risk of the crew accepting it. In my county, it is legal to temporarily place a dumpster in the street as long as it does not impede traffic.
I found a spot on my lawn to place it, 20 feet away from all power lines and trees and on a minimal slope. The only spot other than the street. My driveway is flanked by two tall well spread crape myrtyles so that wouldn't work.
I Demo'd a 5"x8" bathroom and placed all the debris with the exception of the toilet, vanity and tub in there. Most of the bathroom walls were 'mud walls' which are 1-1.5" thick with tile laid on them. My drywall was 1" thick as well. I tried to put the heaviest materials on the bottom and filled the entire bag. If I had regular drywall I could have probably fit the tub (broken up), vanity and toilet in there. You can see my bag filled in the photo.
I wrapped the handles up and used the website to notify the bag was ready. As I went through the site I saw that the bag could not be more than 1/3 of heavy debris such as cement. Those mud walls were about half the bag so I was worried. But the bag was still picked up two business days later! I live in the DC area.
I did a lot of research before choosing this option. I think bad reviews on the company forcing people to move the bag differ by locality and how the crew feel about your bag and its placement. I could have hauled everything to the dump for maybe half the price but this was much more convenient, especially when I had a month to finish the remodel. Just haul it outside to the bag and they take care of it.
My big complaint with the process is the rules. I get they need a lot of rules for safety and legal reasons but some rules were only in the packaging, some on the website and others I only saw when I was scheduling a pickup.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HoosierGrrl Love the Bagster!
The Bagster was a huge help as we were cleaning our garage and attic prior to a recent move. The ability to pick it up in the store, fill it at leisure and then have the truck come and haul the stuff off was great. Highly recommend!

The Dumpster in a Bag purchased at Home Depot solves the getting rid of all that trash from a demo/construction project at home. It does require a call to Waste Management to schedule a pickup. I have used this product on three occasions and it has worked perfectly for me. I have used it for a 20X 40 deck demo, kitchen remodel and a tile and hardwood floor project. The system easily handled all of my debris removal at about the third of the cost of a roll off container. Plus I did not have to worry about any damage to my concrete driveway from the heavy equipment.
I am very pleased with the product and the results and highly recommend it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Don't believe the numbers you hear in the stores
This service fit my needs well because my diy roofing job took weeks to complete. I was surprised though to find that the pickup charge wasn't the $80 I was told in the store: It was $138 with tax. Don't go by WM reps, HD or Lowes: Call Bagster directly. We also placed the bag out in the open on the street side of the house, but a bit closer to the house than their required minimum, and now have to unload it into another bag in order to not incur an extra charge. Be sure to read the instructions BEFORE getting started. They're very restrictive on where the bag is placed. Unfortunately, for my circumstances, it's still the best option for my project.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by School Really is Dumpster in a Bag
What a great product. When you have a project and need to dispose of the trash but is to little for a small dumpster and too much for regular trash these are the ticket. Be warned though they fill up fast so you need to take care with how you put trash in them. Even the way they are picked up is cool. Be aware you pay a fee at the store to purchase them and another fee to have them picked up. A discount is given for every second one when you have 2 picked up.

I bought 2 bagster a for a tile demolition job for a 400square foot room. The package advertised that each bag could hold 900 square feet of concrete or tile. Driver came and told me bags were overloaded and banged me with a $200 surcharge per bag. He then became nasty and threatened to leave the bags there. He also left a mess in the street and I had to answer to my client and cleanup after I already paid bagster for the service.

Very strong bag construction. Used it for handling porch demo & scraps from new porch construction. Will definitely use again, if needed.
