It'll last you 10+ years, provide you high and even heat. only 26,000 BTU total, but the heat distribution is finely tuned so it will actually cook better and faster than a cheaper grill sporting 40,000+ BTUs. Other stores don't have cast iron grates like the Home Depot model has. Pizza on the weber is fast, easy and tasty. Just put the pizza stone in to pre heat, keep the heat to about 400. Make the pizza on a flat pan (surface) with corn meal under the crust slide it on the stone and keep lid closed. We use a timer 8-11 min depending on size. the corn meal lets is slide back on to flat pan.

Just purchased the Weber spirit 210 two burner model.
I actually wanted to price compare so after first looking at Home Depot I went to Lowes.
Lowes was the same price but upon closer exam I noticed that Lowes didn’t have the cast iron grates. Some people may prefer the porcelain covered grates.
However, once you season the cast iron grates they not only deliver a better grilled product they also last much longer and clean easier.
I spoke to a manager and he told me that Home Depot had an agreement with Weber and they were the only store that offered the cast iron grates.
This grill provides a beautiful seer to your meat. The tempeture control is also quite accurate and this grill heats faster then any propane gas grill ive ever used.
Another nice feature is Home depot had already assembled the grill so that was no concern.
I would highly recommend this grill especially for someone with a smaller family. It would be well suited to cook for four or five.

It's a great grill, the best I have ever owned.
I put it together alone in about 3 hrs. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had some moments where I thought I was in trouble while putting it together. For example..
After I built the frame and lifted the grill on to the frame the two main screw holes that attach the grill to the frame did not line up. It took about 20 extra minutes before I just used my body force to squeeze everything together - I literally jammed it so it would fit. At that point I was frustrated and it was either going to break somewhere or fit - as luck had it it fit. And now it's a beauty.

1st off, buy this grill from Home Depot. You will get porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates standard. Other retailers have this model with just porcelain-enamel grates. If you bought the upgraded grates alone, they cost $55.00.
Now let’s talk about the grill. It's exactly what I was looking for. I didn't need a side burner, infrared, 1000 sq. inch cooking area, or any of that nonsense. I just wanted a simple grill which cooks evenly, with minimal flare up, and easy cleanup. That is exactly what this grill does.
I could have bought a much bigger grill for the price, but I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MattinPA This is the grill you're looking for
It only has 2 burners, but you would never know. It's a Weber so you know it all about quality. It heats up to over 500 degrees in less than 5 minutes. If you're thinking about buying a cheaper grill because it has more features think again. Do you really need the side burner, really? You get what you pay for this grill does everything you need a grill to do. Trust me don't settle for less.

I have had a 3 burner grill for several years nowp, and hesitated to go "down" to this 2 burner grill because of my budget.
I should not have hesitated! This grill is far superior to any other of the "bargain" brands.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Connada123 More than enough
I've had this grill from about 2 months now and I'm extremely happy with its performance. When shopping for a grill I was a little worried about the size of this grill and the fact that it only had two burners, when most seem to have three. Those concerns were clearly unwarranted. The size is sufficient to cook up enough food for at least 4 people at a time. If you’re only cooking burgers you could easily fit 10 on this grill at a time. Unless you need to ability to cook for 6 or more people on a regular basis, I think you’ll find the size of this grill more than adequate. With the smaller size, you’ll also end up using a lot less propane.
As for only having two burners and the low BTU rating I was worried that the grill wouldn’t get hot enough. It runs well over 500 °F every time unless I keep opening the grill to check the meat. That’s much hotter than most of those larger cheaper grills, and is more than adequate to quickly cook up anything I’ve grilled so far (burgers, steaks, pork chops, chicken, fish). Most items I cook only need 4 to 5 minutes per side. The grill takes less than 10 minutes to initially get warmed up.
Another note, the cast iron grates that come with this grill (at home depot only) are awesome. They retain heat and put some beautiful sear marks on your meat. I was worried that they might rust quickly, but I just make sure to spray them down with spray olive oil from Target about every other time. Easy and seems to work great.
My other concern with this grill was the price. I could get more grill for a lot less from another maker. After looking at the quality of the other grills, and doing a ton of research on-line, it became clear that Weber was of significantly better quality. If you plan to replace your grill every few years, then yeah, it’s pretty expensive for a grill. But this grill can last you 10 years or more if you take care of it. To me, that’s worth the extra cost. My father still has a similar Weber from about 12 years ago that still looks great and cooks like a champ. He’s clearly gotten his money’s worth out of it, and probably will for another 5 years.
If you’re an advanced BBQer and understand and utilize the ins and outs of direct and indirect heat, you’ll probably want something else. But if you’re a regular guy that just wants a great grill that’ll cook up your steaks and chicken well, this is hard to beat. The size is great for a family of 4 or less, and it’s one of the hotter grills I’ve cooked on. It’s also a Weber, and while I’m not usually one that buys into brand names, Weber is known to stand behind their products. One of our grill doors was dented from shipping, after a phone call Weber had one mailed to us within 2 days of our concern. They’re a great company that still knows the value of customer service.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by johnr GREAT Grill!!!
I considered several grills to replace our BBQ. The Weber is a bit spendy BUT considering the lifespan of the cheaper grills lasting around 3 years the Weber is a better buy. The grill carries a 10 year warranty which in itself puts it well above the others. I bought my grill assembled which is another plus. One of the features I like is the size of the grill, since I am not cooking for an army the size is perfect for a family of two but has the capability of handling a crowd if need be. The only warning I would give is this grill cooks differently than the cheaper grills - pay attention to the times listed on the Weber website - I used the times from my old grill and produced some very well done steaks - followed the suggested times and now am turning out great stuff on the grill. Looking forward to many years of great grilling!
