Smart Home HUB is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 120.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart product When I receive this product I really didn't know a lot about it more I work with it more I learn. I head earlier installed Z-wave switch and now it have full functionality. This product work like alexa only difference it does not have voice recognition. The wink will work with many different WiFi ready product I will try to name some: you can add another hub to this hub, Kidde smoke alarm, nest protect, amazon eco, Blinds such as Bali, Pella, Z Wave blind, Ring door bell, ceiling fans, garage door, home thermostat 8 different ones, Light switches a lot of them, plug in switches a lot of them to, windows sensors like one for home alarms, motion detectors, cameras like arlo, dropcam, nest and ring cam. why do I like this product? It is simple to instal, user friendly and it guide you through the setup, once you set it up it will do the things that you had to do it before. For example before I only could rely on motion detector to turn my outside light when someone is approaching the house or turn them ON and remember to turn them off. Now i have set it up in wink to work with my ring bell together if ring detect the motion turn the outside light on top of that I set the timer for my outside lights to star at sundown and off at 10PM and following morning light on at 4:30 AM and off on sun up, SAVE SOME POWER. All of this you can set it up in this HOME HUB because it have robat, before that some time I will forget to turn off outside light. you have someone coming to service your furnace no problem if you trust them open garage from your work, or unlock the front door for them. The possibilities are endless. Best of all you can use it as a home alarm system without paying monthly fees.

For instance... you can't tell Wink when NOT to do something. Example, when I unlock/open the front door, turn the front room lights on at 20% <UNLESS THEY ALREADY ON>. What I want is for the lights to come on when we get home in the evening, but because you cannot set exceptions to the rule, someone could already be home with the lights fully on. Then someone else get's home and the lights dim. This basic functionality and others are missing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, excellent service Not only have I been impressed with all the WINK possibilities I have with just my lights and locks, I have been even more impressed with WINK's customer service!! Anytime I have had an issue, my phone called has been answered in under a minute (YES, I really mean less then 60 seconds), I have had a well spoken English speaking individual help me, and they know exactly how to help and explain the issue without belittling or asking cue carded questions. I have told them everytime, they are the best customer service department I have ever experienced! I cannot express how great the WINK team is! I will be a customer for life if they continue providing this great of service!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wink for the Smart HOme I have found this to be a great device to have working with the "smart home" concept. It took some time to install because (like all technology) it had to be updated during installation, so patience is important. Once installed we were able to connect to other devices for control of outlets and lights. Wink performs well with Amazon Echo and we use it to turn on and off lights via Echo as well as our phones. We use Wink to connect to the front door lock and via Wink we can control the front door lock from anywhere. We use Wink to set up schedules for lights, nightlights and such. I have also used Wink to set schedules for lights while out of for the weekend. Really enjoy the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go ahead and buy this hub There are plenty of smart devices on the market that tell you they don't require a hub to work. Buying the hub ties everything together nicely into one app on your phone. From this Wink app talking to my hub, I can control lights, garage doors, deadbolts, outlets ... almost anything. Set up was easy and only needs to be "around" the WiFi signal in your house ... doesn't need to plug into the router.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A wobbly at the start.... Following the directions will get you going with the Wink Hub... maybe. GE recommends you place the hub at least 15 feet from your router. I did that and it never paired up with my router. After several frustrating hours, I called their tech support and was told to put it within 3 feet of the router and try it. Of course, it worked. BUT, when I moved it to a central location as suggested, it dropped connectivity. I now have it about 2 feet away from my router and it is rock-solid. It readily finds the different modules I have and the app is extremely easy to use. Compatibility is superb. I read that it has more compatibility than quite a few of the higher end hubs costing MUCH more. I believe it! The most important of this compatibility is to my Amazon Echo. The Echo picked right up on it and every device connected to it (21 in all). Build quality is "high-end Chinese". Not flimsy by any means but not Sony or Panasonic grade. All in all, I would and do highly recommend this to anyone starting out in home automation.
