      Q:my door is between 34 3/4 and 35". I see its adjustable on the width. The inside height of the door is 80". So which size kit do i buy? Should the 80" kit fit in my door?

      A:  Thank you for your question. If you have an 80" rough opening, you should purchase the 80" Andersen LuminAire. Please take note that the LuminAire should be installed on the outside frame of the opening. -Laine

        Q:I live in Arizona and am wondering if having the screen will prevent my entry door handles from getting too hot like they do now in the summer months. My front door needs some sun protection, hoping this will do the trick.

          A:  Thank you for your question. The Luminaire Retractable Screen Door is not meant to be installed inside the opening or inside an outswing door, but it should be mounted on the surface front of the door opening instead (exterior trim). The cut out on the mounting components on the Luminaire screen door will be the one attached inside the opening.                 Q:The sill adapter doesn’t make sense for an uncovered door that could be subject to rain as the sill adapter would direct any potential rain into the door so I’m not using it but did put a support block under the bottom but still allows draining
