A:  3/8" Click Lock if floated over a no thicker then 2mm underlayment is not adhered to the subfloor and will feel solid, however not as solid as a Staple/Gluedown of a tongue and groove floor over plywood; tongue & groove OSB, or concrete.

Existing Floors Installation over existing floor requires the installer to consider potential issues related to moisture damage, adhesive failure and fastener failure. Contact the adhesive and fastener manufacturers respectively for their specific instructions, recommendations and requirements.
