Known defects
fridges do not keep food at safe temperatures and needs to be defrosted every 4-8 weeks. Known defect back in 2015, and yet continue to sell these defective products with the same defect. it is not a warranty issue, it is a defect.

    Love my Samsung 28 cu ft Refrigerator

      Makes a difference
      [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of course getting something new is always nice. A new pair of shoes, a new shirt, new plants for the spring and summer season. But a new fridge comes under a different category. Because it really matters what you get in your affordable range. I and my wife are so happy that we went with this Samsung model. The extra draw makes it so convenient. It not only looks great it works great! Spending a little more and going for the added features make all the difference. We highly recommend this Samsung model.

          DO NOT BUY
          The ice maker freezes up and will no longer make ice. It’s pointless to thaw it out because it continually freezes up. Additionally, the temperature display on the outside of the door does not match up to the temperature inside.

            Recommend Appliance and delivery but would higher a professional to Install or self
            Appliance is very spacious exactly what my wife wanted and looks great ! Had it delivered and installed after 2 days I did however had to replace a broke fitting leaking behind fridge.

Only down side no clear instructions to clean bottom glass, but I found a video on YouTube and it did the trick, actually it was simple, but if you don’t know how… you may end up breaking parts.

            Worst refrigerator EVER
            Please DO NOT BUY this junk. Find another model, save your money! It’s ice maker would make you want to pull all your hair out. This is how I defrost my ice maker, with a hair drier, otherwise we are left with massive blob of ice.

              Do not buy
              9mo old and they don’t stand on warranty that is one yr parts and labor.Our frig the plastic is cracking and the wheel on drawer is broke which that crack one drawer, they replaced the drawer but not wheel, oddly the other drawer too.

                Stunning Fridge
                10 days only and I feel I should write a review because if it fails after this date it would be repaired somehow under warranty. so This review is about the features. The fridge is spacious, lots of space top and bottom. the flex drawer is useful for Cheese, Ham, Wine, and anything needing 3 Celcius like fresh meat to cook next day. Ice maker, water dispenser works fine!. the installers very professional . Home depot had delivery issues and changed the date on the day before the original schedule. I called them because the new date was 12 days later and they corrected it to 4 days. so I would give them the benefit of unforeseen problems due to a big delivery like this one. I recommend you to measure and measure and be aware that doors can be removed to fit the main house entrance. I also installed the water supply by myself using amazon and home depot parts running the tube under the floor via basement. as you can see in the pictures I had to move the kitchen cabinets few inches. it's worth it and the price isn't too high. this one is a black model and even that our kitchen is all white , the new color makes kind of a complement or good contrast. home depot helped us cancelling the 22cu and re-ordering the 28cu as soon as I noticed the doors were renovable to get it into the house.

                  Take note when no local repair companies will service samsung or LG refrigerators. ice maker persistently froze up, service tech recommended leaving open to defrost. Then the fridge compartment kept icing up not going into defrost. New parts were installed, no joy, same issues. Final nail in the coffin was estimated 3 weeks for repair tech to service same issues. Family of five without a refrigerator?

                    Do Not Buy This Fridge
                    The ice bucket, where the ice is dumped, breaks into small pieces. I've kept all of the plastic pieces that end up in our drinking glasses. I've ended up almost swallowing some pieces. Samsung won't fix it. They have the worst customer service.

                      Do not buy Samsung
                      Samsung refrigerators are awful. We have this model, and we spend every other weekend ripping off the back panel and using a blow dryer to defrost it. Samsung knows that thousands of people are dealing with these issues, yet they do nothing. One day, you’re food will be fine, the next it will be spoiled due to a frosted cooling fan. Buy a different brand.

                        So far so good. Larger inside and shelving is more sensible. We bought a Frigidaire one year ago and after 2 months the dispenser didn't work, but was still making ice, thank goodness. Working with Electrolux/Frigidaire was a nightmare. Parts replaced twice; still doesn't work. They bought it back for half what we paid, so now we have this beautiful new Samsung 4 door. WAY BETTER THAN THE FRIGIDAIRE!!!

                        It’s hard to clean
                        I bought this 7 months before and I m very disappointed with this purchase.In features it says fingerprints resistant, not true.Its hard to remove the shelves,if you will finally get it out then take off the glass and front part of drawers is another pain.It’s time consuming not easy to clean.when I bought it from PC RICHARDSONS they said it has one year manufacturer warranty I got a minor dent on my freezer I called and came to know it’s not covered.I will not recommend this.

                          Black Stainless steel is stripping after 10 months
                          DO NOT BUY. PURCHASED AN ENTIRE SUITE OF SAMSUNG BLACK STAINLESS STEEL KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY APPLIANCES. REFRIGERATOR AND RANGE ARE STRIPPING/FLAKING AFTER ONLY 10 MONTHS. LOTS OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON LINE. SAMSUNG CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. THRE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT THAT WAS RECENTLY FILED FOR THESE ISSUES.                                 Ice machine and other fails too quickly
                                The ice machine failed within the first year of purchase. The refrigerator made loud sounds for months along with the fail. The warranty company changed for a review of the issues. The cost for the fix was extravagant, so I passed on that. The noise eventually subsided. Come 2 years later, the freezer stopped working. The middle drawer still keeps everything fresher than the fridge drawers. I won’t purchase this brand again.

                                  2 years old and broken
                                  Fridge is 2 years old and the ice maker is broke. Samsung makes nice TVs...not fridges. Now this $2700 fridge is worth $700.

                                      I Wanted To Love Samsung, But Their Fridge’s Are Awful (and customer service)
                                      I’ve never written a bad review for any product until now. But my experience compelled me to. Samsung makes great TVs — and horrible refrigerators. Their ice makers continuously block up with solid chunks of cube blocks inside the compartment, completely freezing it up. There’s been a class-action lawsuit about this since 2017. Google it. Samsung even lied to my mother, set up an app’t to “repair” the problem and never sent anyone, despite repeated calls. Don’t waste your money or time.

                                        So we’ve had it about a week and all is still working. The freezer had a little frost in it but we found some rocks in the bottom f rom bringing it in I guess so we’ll see if that fixes it. My only problem and frustration so far is that it is not fingerprint resistant like it advertises. There are fingerprints all over this sucker and I wipe it down daily!!!! Hello kids - the whole reason I wanted the resistant kind! Also it’s def not black black. Like it’s a darker silver to me. I was hoping for something a little darker to more match what we have but I guess that’s what I get for ordering online since it wasn’t in store.

                                          Don't Buy!!!!!
                                          It is shameful of Home Depot still selling any Samsung refrigerator. They look nice and work great for maybe the first year. After that get ready for inconsistent temperatures, dripping water from ice maker, freezing issues. The ice maker WILL freeze up. The evaporator will freeze up with ice a lock the fan up. Samsung will not stand by their product and are facing a class action lawsuit. There is even a Facebook page about the Samsung refrigerators and the same issue with all their models. Save your money and stay away!

                                            We bought this brands 2019 and in 2020 we notice that the coating was peeling , I call Samsung they said the material coating is not warranty this also happen to our samsung stove, this was very frustrating and there is nothing we can do, so buyer beware.

                                              I like the interior. Is has good space and drawers are easy to open and close. The middle drawer is great for all deli products. Front doors open individually without having to open one or another in other to open the one you want. However, the "Fingerprint Resistant" is not really fingerprint resistant. It gets easily stained with fingerprints and I have to put more effort in cleaning the exterior way more than my previous fridge (Kenmore brand that I barely cleaned stains and was always looking great). Another thing I did not like is the water supply area got water stains almost immediately as well as scratches from the glass or whatever container used to dispense water. Looks like that metal area is not water or scratch resistant. I will not buy this brand anymore.

                                              The Samsung 23 cu. ft. 4 door French Door refrigerator was a great purchase. We purchased in black stainless steel. I went from a full size fridge to a counter depth fridge with lots of concerns regarding space. However, I absolutely LOVE the counter depth fridge. It is amazing how much space it seems to free up. I have not filled it up yet! PRO: 1) It is fingerprint resistant, so all good there. 2) The 2 crisper drawers are spacious and hold a lot. My food seems to last longer than usual in the new unit. 3) Interior is nice and bright and SUPER easy to find things now. 4) We ALL love the divided middle pull out drawer which we use exclusively for drinks... sodas, water, individual juices, etc. 5) I absolutely LOVE the shelf near the ice maker that folds up as it allows room for lots of tall objects... 2 liter bottles, wine, pitchers, etc. 6) Nice filtered ice and water dispenser. I am switching from disposable water bottles to reusables that I keep filled & ready for Grab&Go. 7) I also love the retractable half shelf that allows for even more tall items if needed... although I haven't had to use it yet. 8) Sturdy door bins... I can actually put 2 gallon jugs of milk in one drawer without worrying that it will collapse. 9) Pull-out shelf drawer inside the bottom freezer section. Perfect size for individual frozen microwave meals for grab and go. 10) I am constantly using the ice dispenser and have yet to run out. However, if you have a large family or party, you may need to plan in advance by keeping an extra bin in the freezer that you fill with extra ice beforehand. CON: 1) The water dispenser area needs to be wiped down every couple of days as it gets water spots on it. I have not been able to determine if it drips after dispensing or if it is just my family not paying attention and removing their cup too quickly. Either way, it is a small inconvenience that is easily remedied.

                                              I bought all Samsung appliances about 3 years ago. Dishwasher, stove, and microwave all work great. The refrigerator is horrible. It has been a constant battle trying to make ice. It was continuously freezing all around the ice box but I was able to do a FD (forced defrost) which worked then it would start making ice again. Now, after the last time I did the FD it makes very few half ice cubes. I just pulled the ICE cube tray out and dumped water all over the floor. I now hate Samsung and will be buying all new appliances from a different store and 100% definitely a different brand. Total waste of money! Its fine if you don't use ice but I like my whiskey cold! Google Samsung refrigerator not making ice and you will see all the complaints that you don't see on here.
