Sleek design and definitely resists fingerprints, even with a kid who takes pleasure in putting handprints on things. Love the drawer for lunch meat, cheeses and meat. Very convenient not having to open the fridge for our most used items. I love that the buttons to adjust temp, etc is inside the fridge instead of outside where little fingers can mess with them. Ice dispenses quickly and we have never run out, even with my wife who loves LOTS of ice in her drinks. Cooled quickly after installation. Would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Our current fridge is almost 20 years old, and we really wanted to try all of the latest features. First, the stainless steel finish is great. It doesn't leave smudges as much as my older stainless steel appliances. We also like the size of this fridge. It is huge and holds so much stuff! I wasn't quite sure what I would think about the bottom freezer style of this appliance as well as the extra middle drawer. But we love it!!! The middle drawer is great for my daughter's snacks, and cans of soda and other drinks fit perfectly and are kept wonderfully cool. I like being able to adjust the temperature of each section. The main reason we got this refrigerator is the feature of the ice and water in the drawer, especially the crushed ice option. We were NOT disappointed with these features! I love crushed ice, and the ice that is produced from this dispenser is so soft. It almost rivals the nugget ice you can get at restaurants! The only slight negative with the ice is that it takes a while for the ice to get properly crushed. It even sometimes takes a bit to dispense just the regular cubed ice. But the option of crushed ice is worth the wait! We also like that you can lock the water/ice dispenser in order to clean it. The only other slight negative about this fridge is that there is not a lot of door space in the refrigerator section. Some of our larger condiments don't fit too well because of the way we have the shelves situated. This isn't a big deal, though, since there is so much room in the rest of the of fridge. Overall, this was a great purchase for us, and we are enjoying it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this refrigerator. The flex drawer is really a great addition. I can keep my food separated. I like the water and ice on the outside of the refrigerator so we don't have to keep opening it. The freezer drawers have plenty of space. The controls are all touch. It is so easy to set them up and use. You can use your phone to set up the controls and keep an eye on it, although, I haven't done that yet.

I've only had it a month, but I love it. Love the middle drawer. Reaching in to open the freezer drawer takes some getting use to. But So far, so good. I have a husband in a wheelchair and a nearly blind 96 year old mother, so the drawer is just wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best refrigerator I’ve ever had. The space it has for all my food is amazing. Not only do I have 2 doors to arrange and store everything, but I’ve got a drawer to keep my bottled items cold, but if I want- I can change it to freezer mode too! The freezer pulls out on the bottom, and it has a hidden drawer you can arrange more items with! We put boxed items in there. I love how good the water flows out, and how the ice is always ready when we want a cold drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife picked out this fridge and I wasn't too sure about it at first. After having it for a while I do think it was a good buy. It's not had any issues, is well made, and looks good in our kitchen. My wife likes that there's the middle drawer to keep the kids stuff in so that they can keep their grubby little hands out of the main fridge. A really nice feature is the alarm that goes off if the fridge is left open. Water tastes good and is cold, Ice maker is easy to operate and I like that we can lock it up so that the kids can't play with it. I'd definitely recommend.

It’s at the intersection of beautiful & functional!!! Everything I could ask for in a refrigerator... lots of accessible storage, great lighting, and a very roomy freezer with door accessible water & ice.

This Samsung 28 Cu. Ft. refrigerator replaced a five year old 26.3 Cu.Ft.side by side unit. so my review will have comparisons between the two. The Freezer drawer will hold considerably more since it does not have the ice-maker taking up space. There is the main drawer and a second sliding tray on top that makes it easy to find things once it is filled up. It was difficult to put large items in the side by side as it was to narrow for things like a large Turkey, those go in this with no problem. The Ice-maker is in the refrigerator compartment but it is small in comparison to the one in the old unit so it does not take up too much space. Because it dispenses ice and water through the door the door shelves are not adjustable and have less capacity then to old unit. The refrigerator shelves are not as adjustable either so tall items are not as easily stored. There is a sliding portion on one of the shelves to accommodate taller items. It has a "Flex Drawer" between the freezer and refrigerator that can be set to any of 4 different temperatures to give a little more versatility. The fingerprint resistant finish is very nice as it does not seem to get prints on it at all. It is one of the quietest refrigerators that I have ever had, you have to listen carefully to even know it is running. The ice maker dispenses a little slow but it does not throw ice all over the floor. It is about 40% more energy efficient than the old unit (5.0a vs 8.5a) It seems to run less also.

The delivery team moved fast but they asked me if I want to wash the 6 bins before they get installed. It was like trick question. So I had to open all the packages and installed them by myself. and there was whole bunch of trash. They used the water line of the old refrigerator, not the new one. And they gave me GE water line. This is Samsung refrigerator. The refrigerator is really quiet and inside is roomy and deep. I really love the second drawer and store all the dairy product in it. I don't have to open main door often. The bottom freezer is so huge so I don't have to use the freezer in our garage. I love this frige. Also it looks nice. One thing is a con, once in a while the ice gets stuck in the dispencer hole and drips water when it melts.

The refrigerator is very attractive in the stainless steel. It is much better at hiding fingerprints than my old GE. I use the FlexZone to store beverages and it does an excellent job. I have it set for beverage which is 34 degrees.and I also put fresh meat in the FlexZone that I plan to use within a few days. The freezer is set at 0 and ice cream is hard when you take it out to serve which is what you expect. I am surprised at the amount of room in the fridge with it being counter depth but doesn't seem to be any smaller than our old side by side GE. I like the shelf that folds up and actually used it to accommodate a small watermelon. The freezer was not cooling down after it was delivered so I called Samsung and they had me unplug it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in and that seemed to do the trick. I used the app to set the temperature for both refrigerator and freezer. App does not control Flex Zone. A couple of things I don't like is that it does not let you know the current temperature inside the fridge and freezer as well as the flex zone only the set temperature. My old GE would tell you the temperature of the fridge and freezer at the push of a button. Ice maker works fine and only time will tell if it holds up. One thing I don't like is water will drip after using the crushed ice feature. Not bad enough to drip onto the floor but more of a nuisance. Cubed ice and water dispenser work fine. Water is fairly cool. Not looking forward to replacing the filter since the directions call for turning off the water supply. You can either roll it out from the wall and turn off the water supply or go out to the street and turn off the water supply at the meter. On my old GE you just unscrewed the old filter and screwed in a new one. This is a newer model and does not have the water pitcher but that's not something we would ever use anyway and prefer the extra space. Another thing is the temperature controls have been moved to inside the refrigerator where previous models had the controls on the Flex Zone drawer. I saw some reviews that indicated over time the wires could be severed by the movement from sliding the Flex Zone drawer in an out and that was another reason I chose the RF24R7201SR. It seems to be of a higher quality than other refrigerators. Nicer shelves and drawers than other manufacturers. Given all the bad reviews about the ice maker I elected to go with the 5 year extended warranty from Home Depot. It will reimburse me for 50% of the cost of replacement filters ordered through Home Depot. After the warranty expires I can be reimbursed up to 30% of the cost if no claims have been filed and the filters are not considered claims. The refrigerator was the same cost at other places but I chose Home Depot because of the availability and the 5 year extended warranty. Best Buy only offers a 3 year extended warranty. I have only had the Samsung for 3 weeks but love it so far.

Nice refrigerator that really does resist fingerprints. This frig is roomy, more than our olf frig that was the same size. The top part is deep with lots of space. The shelves were easy to install and adjustable. The crisper drawers are very nice and love the adjustable humidity feature. We love the middle drawer, we use it for drinks because its opened often. The freezer part is deep the sliding shelf works great. The digital controls take a bit to understand, but instructions cured the issue.

Now this is what a fridge should be. We've had side by side fridge/ freezer for decades. Changing to this french door style wasn't something we were sure we'd like. Well, after a week we REALLY like it. It took about 4 hours to cool fridge and 9 hours to cool freezer after we got it. The Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel is great and here's why. First off, it's large. Plenty of room. It's easy to organize. We decided to use the pull out drawer for left overs and everyday things like eggs, cheese, yogurt and the like. Moved the top right shelf down for all the tall items.. The narrow shelf under it if perfect for pies and things like Velvetta or plates of whatever. Top left is for lighter items. There is a small door shelf under the ice maker that people have said is worthless. Well, not to me. I keep individually wrapped English muffins there. Use your imagination. I find it's much easier to find and keep track of where everything is. Our other freezer had a lot of shelves but that was just confusing keeping track of stuff. The bottom freezer is to my surprise easier to organize and keep track of items. Everything is right there. Move things around a bit reveals what you're looking for. Top pull out is for things on the go or what we use often. Also, somehow I have a snapshot in my head of where things are. We really like the double bins for vegetables and fruit. And the information panel in the fridge is great for temperature information or adjustments. I could go on but will end by saying this is a user friendly fridge that you can tailor to meet your needs.

Well designed and functional refrigerator. This refrigerator is large, at 28CF. It replaced a 25CF refrigerator and I did not expect that much difference but the extra space and efficient design holds a lot more food in the frig and the freezer sections. The flex drawer is great. Temperature in the drawer can be adjusted based on items stored within. The unique flex drawer divider is easy to use and really helps keeping items organized, it locks into place once the position you desire is selected. The water and ice are filtered with NFS/ANSI 53 certified filters. It is Energy Star certified. It is listed as ADA compliant and I can see how the easier to reach bottom freezer, flex drawer, and frig doors would be advantageous to a disable person. The LED lighting is a tremendous improvement over traditional appliance bulbs. The capacity of the freezer is supplemented by the sliding top freezer shelf so items are not stacked on top of each other and are easier to reach. The temperature controls are located inside the upper right door. The water filter is easy to reach and easy to install ( it is located between the refrigerator bins. The doors operate smoothly and seal nicely. Although it weighs in at over 300 lbs it is easy to move around on the floor to be positioned as desired or moved for cleaning underneath. The fingerprint resistant finish is much nicer that the previous stainless steel models and really does prevent showing prints and smudges. The shelves easily flip up or slide to allow for tall or bulky items. If you are installing yourself be sure and measure your entry door width to insure access. Samsung describes the dimensions in detail to insure a proper fit. It is shipped with the handles not installed which makes it less deep for easier moving into your home. Handles are easy to install with the supplied hex wrench. Water line is super easy to connect with a 1/2" open end wrench. The air circulation inside the fridge is good and fresh vegetables stay fresh. Overall the fit and finish of this frig was excellent. It is a bit more costly than some seemingly similar items but the unique features make it worth the investment.

This refrigerator is gorgeous; extremely well designed, nearly perfect. So many little things that set it apart. The fingerprint resistant surface is so nice; my prior refrigerator was stainless, and we were forever looking for a stainless cleaner that did not leave streaks, Now no worries. My prior refrigerator (w/french doors) was 27 sq feet, with this model I barely notice the difference. I previously had a wide bottom drawer, I thought I might miss it, but the FlexZone drawer is so much smarter, it probably twice the area of my wide drawer, but now I can see what's where so much better. Things used to get forgotten in the back of the old drawer, as it did not pull out completely, the FlexDrawer offers much better visibility, with the option to adjust the temperature in the drawer. The LED lighting is sufficient to see everything well in the interior. The two crisper drawers both offer humidity control, which is very nice, but the drawers don't quite fully extend, no big deal. The right front has an extendable shelf (that I'll never extend, as this allows tall bottles to be stored on the lower shelf, something I've become accustomed to. One of the first thing I notice was how easy the doors are to open, and if you leave any of the doors open too long you'll be notified by a (no so annoying pinging) alert. One thing you should plan for upon initial installation, it take 8+hours for the newly installed refrigerator/ freezer to get to it's set temperature. It initially cools the main refrigerator area before the freezer starts to cool significantly, it took several hours before freezers temp to start moving down at all, and it was about 8+ hours before it got to -2 (my set temperature). I'm glad I had not unloaded my old refrigerator directly into the new one. If I have had the installation team "haul" away my old refrigerator I'm not sure this would have worked well for me. Plan accordingly! The freezer has 2 compartments each is completely removable, this is a huge advantage; I've spilled in my freezer before, and know having, these removable makes things much easier. The upper area is a simple sliding drawer about 5" deep, the lower area is have movable divider, it's about 12" deep, and is very well lit with LED lights. I'll probably use the upper drawer for ice cream, if perfect for that. A couple of little complaints, first the "tray" under the water/ice dispenser is very shallow, really no room to hold drips, This has an advantage and disadvantage. On my prior refridg, the drip tray was difficult to keep clean and developed lime deposits. That won't happen here, as water will drip down the front of the refrigerator (also not desirable). I do like the tall water/ice dispenser, it allows Venti size cups/glasses, even pitchers to fit under the dispenser. Next, I had hoped that the ice maker would make clearer ice, it may be just be my water, but I have a separate external water filter going to the refrigerator plus the one in the refrigerator, and still my ice is very white (see image). I've let the ice melt and the water is perfectly clear, so it's probably air in the water, but Samsung if your listening, this is something you could improve upon. I do appreciate that this refrigerator makes ice much more quiet le than my previous refrigerator/freezer. As far as energy efficiency, it's more efficient than other refrigerators I considered, but it's not as efficient as my prior unit, and the IceMax feature is not mentioned in the user manual, and I could not find it in my unit. Getting the refrigerator set up on Smart Things was very straight forward, the user manual walks you through the instructions. The ability to prevent the refrigerator from defrosting during "peak" hours is a very clever feature, but the max delay is 4 hours, and here in AZ my peak hours are 3PM-8PM so a 5 hr spread is necessary for this to be truly useful (to me in AZ). There are a number of other Energy Mgt features (DAL & TALR that I don't think are yet supported in my area); but it's good to know this refrigerator has forward looking functionality. I'm not sure I'll ever adjust the temps of the refrigerator remotely, but it's good to know how it's operating. The historical energy usage is a cool function, they support listing food and expiration info for items tracked, but (IMHO) it's way to time consuming to use. I'm sure other functionality can/will be added in the future. I'm proud to have upgraded to my new Samsung, and I look forward to my refrigerator getting smarter.

This Samsung 28 cf refrigerator is really nice looking. The handles are a brushed stainless steel so there aren't fingerprints all over them. The two bottom drawers have handles that bend so easier to pull out. The controls are inside the refrigerator and digital, very easy to use. The shelves are plenty and there is so much room. We had a large side by side before, but this French door layout is much more useful for space. The water filter is easy to get to since right in front too, and the closed ice box makes sure ice does not spill out when full. The upper bottom drawer has 4 settings, so can be to freeze or refrigerate things, so that is a great feature. Lights inside are led and bright. This is a great addition to our chef kitchen layout, so very happy. Quiet, stylish, great use of space, and modern!

This is the second Samsung French Door refrigerator that we own. One of the major reasons we bought the first, and is still our favorite feature is the FlexZone drawer. It seems that more and more manufacturers are coming out with a similar drawer. You can control the temperature in it separately depending on what you store in it. We store drinks, as well as small containers of food in it, as it is easy to pick out what you want without having to move things around to get to them. This one has a 4 way adjustable divider, whereas our previous refrigerator had a 2 section divider. It is easy to adjust and lock in place, which is a bonus as far as I am concerned. It helps keep things from rolling around so much when you open the drawer. Another thing about this is that everything can be monitored and controlled through your smart phone or device. This is nice for us since we travel a good deal and are gone throughout the winter. We also like the counter depth for our kitchen, as the refrigerator sits directly across from an island while the deeper refrigerators can restrict travel in that area. The filtered water and ice in the door are very handy, as is the drawer in the freezer for storing smaller items or items that you take out more often. The fingerprint resistant finish is nice. There can still be smudges, but it won’t smudge as easily as other stainless steel refrigerators. The water filter is easy to change. I like the location of the temperature controls. They are easy to see and to access. The 10 year compressor warranty is definitely a win. We like the slide-in shelf that allows for storage of taller bottles, such as wine bottles that have been re-corked or whatever. The shelf is easy to slide back out when you need the extra shelf space. There are plenty of door shelves for milk and condiment jars/bottles. The LED lighting makes it easy to find anything in the refrigerator or freezer. We love it and recommend it.

They absolutely knocked it out of the park when they designed this one. It has all the bells and whistles you could possibly ever want with a modern dispenser, polished door and sleek handles. It has an abundance of room in the double doors and two drawers. Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this one. You have tons of room in the top portion for food storage, drinks and dairy. You also have a drawer for box juices, cheese, sandwich meats and anything else you want to store in it. It has Flex Zone drawer with four different temperature settings, and also an adjustable divider, which is great to help you stay organized. It has adjustable shelves that will go from the standard to a slide-in or flip -up. This is great for storing your taller items. This Samsung refrigerator comes equipped with Wi-Fi and Bixby enabled. You can use your Smart Phone to control the temperature and monitor your refrigerator remotely. Now, how great is that. Such a smart idea. It has high efficiency LED lighting. It includes twin- cooling plus, which assists in humidity levels that helps prevent spoiling and freezer burn. The Ice-Max stores up to 48 pound of ice. It has a huge freezer drawer that will accommodate lots of frozen foods. The dimensions are: 28.5” depth (excluding handles) 31 inches (including handles), depth (less door) is 24.5” Depth with door open 90 deg. 42.75” Height to top of door hinge is 68.8” Height to top of refrigerator is 70,” Product depth measures 31” Product height is 70,” the width of the refrigerator measures 35.75” This Samsung Refrigerator has a Tier 1 rating. I haven’t had the fridge very long only a couple weeks but I have been so happy with it. I love all the space and features. I love the middle extra drawer, and the extra wide opening for the ice and water dispenser.

i am loving all the space inside the refrigerator. it has plenty of door space shelves for condiments and sauces,etc.the flex drawer works out wonderfully .

Our entire household is enjoying this new addition to the kitchen.The inside refrigerator light is nice and bright for those late night drink cravings.There's plenty of room to neatly stack leftovers bowls and still being able to find what you're looking for inside.It runs quietly and the ice maker seems to keep up well.It also matches perfectly with our new Samsung dishwasher.

My goodness! From putting blocks of ice in the icebox at my Granddads to a 4-door French door refrigerator is a serious transition over the years. So many neat things going on with this Samsung unit. Really like these features; bottom large drawer for frozen foods with an extra smaller drawer in the freezer, a multi-use drawer with 4 quadrants which all can be set to different temperatures (what?) and the top French doors with multiple shelves ( which one can be used as full length or half size ) along with multiple door storage areas. Plenty of ice with the options of water, cubed or crushed. Just arrived today and am loving it. Flashing temperatures on the inside of the refrigerator wall and that neat looking fingerprint resistant stainless steel is just flat out nice. The delivery team from HomeDepot were totally outstanding. Very professional yet personable and helpful. In fact it is still cooling down as it’s only been about an hour and they said it would take around 8-12 hours to totally cool all areas correctly.

Love my Samsung(s)! We recently sold a house that we had remodeled and had bought a Samsung 4 door fridge with french doors upper and lower - loved it and never a moment of trouble in the 4 years we owned it. During the same time we briefly had a condo with a new Samsung 4 door fridge with french upper doors and 2 freezer drawers - loved it and no problems. Just bought a 30 yr old house that had a 10 year old Samsung side by side - still worked beautifully. We remodeled the kitchen and installed this beautiful, new Samsung 4 door with one of the drawers a flex drawer. Because of our history with Samsung fridges there was never a question that our new fridge would be Samsung ; the only question was which model. This is a new model with french doors on top, a flex drawer and a deep freezer drawer with an inner drawer to help with organization. The flex drawer is the neatest feature of this great, new model! We never seemed to have enough room for all the many bottles of seasonings that require refrigeration after opening and they took up all the bin space. One can set the flex drawer at 4 different temps including the "Deli" setting of 37 degrees which is the same temp as we keep the rest of the fridge. There are settings for fresh meat and canned drinks as well. We moved all our little seasoning jars along with cheeses and yogurt to the flex drawer and opened up all kinds of space in the main fridge. One reviewer mentioned that she thought Samsung stainless finish was more beautiful than other brands - and it is. I think it is the fingerprint resistant coating but it gives the finish a depth and gleam that is really gorgeous. It is the best fingerprint resistant finish on the market. Samsung has two shelves which fold up or slide back to made the fridge easily accommodate tall bottles, pitches or vases full of flowers, tall cakes, etc. We use this feature all of the time. The touch control panel on the inside of the main fridge is very easy to use and can do so much: you can lock the entire panel so kids can't change settings, lock only the ice/water, change temps in the main compartment, flex drawer and freezer, set either the fridge or freezer to a super fast cool down - handy after loading it with room temp food after a big grocery trip, plus several other controls. The thru door ice and water includes cubes or crushed ice plus water. This feature seems to be what past refrigerators often failed at and this one seems to have mastered. It simply works well and dose what it is supposed to do. We have an upright freezer in our garage and so we did not need a huge freezer compartment but this one is quite roomy with a slide back 2nd drawer in a drawer which is so handy for organizing smaller boxes and containers. I love the LED lights, counter depth and easy to grip handles, the gallon door bins and especially the door bins that surround the ice maker - previous models waster this space. In short I love, love, love this fridge and would give it 10 stars if I could. Oh, and it is a smart fridge that I can get alarms about open doors, energy usage, etc. via my phone and a Samsung app. Perfect!

Design: The layout on this works perfectly for our family over a traditional 3 door/drawer French style. The flex zone drawer is perfect and actually adjusts the temperature pretty quickly based on what you have it set to. There’s also something about Samsung stainless steel that looks better to me over the competitors. I can’t put my finger on it, but it just “glimmers” more to me. There’s plenty of shelves/storage and I like that there are drawers on the left upper door that fit around the water dispenser. A lot of refrigerators waste this space. There’s also a shelf that folds down in half when you have taller items to store, but converts back to a full shelf when needed. The biggest thing for me was counter depth. I know a lot of people would love a bigger refrigerator, but I could sacrifice that extra storage for something that flows with the kitchen and doesn’t protrude too much. It is perfect and it’s nice that they do have the option of a standard depth refrigerator if needed. I live close to a grocery store and try to grab fresh produce whenever I can so having a ton of storage wasn’t a huge deal. The freezer is a bit small for my liking, but that’s where the flexzone area shines. I can take out whatever I need for the following days and store it in there without having to worry about it spoiling by getting too warm as if it were in the regular refrigeration area. Functionality: There’s not much to say about this. It just works, which in itself is probably the best thing you can say about it. There was no issues with install, no special instructions needed. I’m a pretty techy person, but when it comes to appliances like this, I just need it to cool things down and that’s it. With that being said, the temperature control is digital and has a few functions that can be adjusted. I did see it has bixby/wifi enabled and would love to play with that function. It does have a chime that goes off if the doors are left ajar, so that feature is nice. If the phone app alerts when the door is left open that would in itself be worth the refrigerator. I did pop open the booklet to read up on some of the modes and will definitely use them accordingly. It cooled from room temp to 37 on the refrigerator portion in about 2 hours. It took the freezer about 4 to get from room temp to 0. No/little noise. I also noticed that it even “quiets” itself down when I open the door. Might be a placebo, but maybe not. Overall: Definitely happy with this refrigerator!

There's a lot of things to talk about regarding our new Samsung 28 Cu. ft. Door Refrigerator. First of all, let me start with FlexZone Drawer, I have never seen a refrigerator that has flexible storage and with 4 temperature settings that I can control over my phone. I love the fact that I don't have to worry if my vegetables and fruits will be frozen. I can also adjust the humidity level on the cabinet where I can put the fruits and vegetables. Some items like wine are so delicate that it needs to put in a certain temperature because the taste can change badly. Secondly, I like that it has adjustable shelves and I can shrink some of them if I need more or taller space. It is very easy to adjust and it doesn't take so much effort to do it. Thirdly, I also like the fact that it can make ice as much twice compared to the one that used to have. It makes me feel that I am always ready to party! In addition, I like the idea that it's fingerprint resistant since I have 4 kids at home! No need to wipe it's surface all the time. There are more reasons why I like my new refrigerator but I can only say one thing, If it's from Samsung, it always comes with PERFECTION!

This fridge is amazing. It has so much room. I just love the adjustable shelving when you want to store taller items. The FlexZone Drawer has different temperature settings and sliding dividers so you can easily store items. It is great to that the fridge can be connected to the SmartThings app. It gives you notifications when the door is open or shut and you can control the temperatures. It looks stylish in our kitchen and we are very happy with this fridge.

My husband and I got this fridge about 2 weeks ago. We were not sure what to expect from the layout of this fridge but, having had it for about a week now I can say that we both love it. Our previous fridge was a side by side and always felt cramped inside, having to move food around to find what you need. Not with this fridge. This fridge allows for better organization of food and finding things is much easier with the size of the upper refrigerator. Samsung’s flex zone is amazing. This area allows for a way to organize drinks, cheeses, meats, and yogurts. The divider is very handy allowing for both back and forth adjustment, as well as side to side and can be locked in place. Having the flexibility to move the divider to meet your needs is nice to have. My husband and I were worried about switching to this type of fridge layout as it seemed like less space initially. However, we started moving food into it and we found out we could fit everything needed and organization was much nicer than the side by side. The top drawer in the freezer is great to get quick access to smaller items that can be easily organized. The fridge has wireless built-in, so we downloaded the Samsung SmartThings app. My husband setup the fridge in the app and was able to set temperatures for the refrigerator, freezer, and the flex zone drawer. We could also turn the ice maker on and off from the app as well. The app will send you a notification if a door is left open on the unit as well. We are both very happy with the purchase and truly love how this Samsung fridge has made our kitchen a smarter and better organized place.
