This store is family friendly and very friendly!

Poor customer service and constantly out of stock on the shelves. The wood quality is horrible due to warping or splitting. Staff acknowledges the problem but all claim to lack the authority to correct it.

There is always someone available to help you.

Home Depot is up'ed their customer service and have a great inventory. Unfortunately for Veterans, you don't get the Veteran discount unless you are Retired Military, Disable Military or Active Military. all other Veterans only get discounts on 3 special holidays a year. But they do have a great inventory compared to other hardware stores

Set a will call for 30 bags of sand to be picked up at 6 AM on my way to the job site. They did not have it ready. The sand was not accessible to me. It took them 40 minutes to get a forklift and get it down. Had the material been accessible to me I could’ve him loaded the material faster. The employees didn’t care one way or the other that I was late to get the material on the job. I paid guys to stand around with the materials should have been ready so I could’ve got to the job on time. Set my whole day back that includes parking, if you’re in construction you know that you got to get there early especially when you have a trailer load. Won’t be going back there.

We bought a home in May so we are at the store every weekend. We love that the store has a big staff. We can always find an employee to help us. Daniel is an employee there and he has lots of knowledge on organic chemicals. We love that they hire an older staff. Love the greeter and the cashier Linda. Our experience at this store has been great! No complaints on this end.

I always have a great shopping experience at this store. The staff is knowlegable friendly and always willing to help. A big shout out to the cashier Jeanna I always look forward to her smile and excellent customer service.

The store is well organized, clean and aisles wide. The staff is most accommodating, available, and I will shop there again.

Almost always have what I need and employees are capable and helpful. I do a lot of home projects. We are building a home and I make a lot of trips back an forth to Home Deport. Their return policies are very easy to work with and I have never had any issues bringing items back.

I was on my way back from my nephew's graduation but needed plants for work and knew home depot would have them. This location had a great selection of succulents and I was very pleased with the service they provided. Unfortunately I don't live in the area so I can't say I'll be back but there was a better selection then my local home depot.

Love shopping albany home depot where staff is always super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Layout of store is awesome with items easily found.

I purchased a small appliance yesterday. The gentleman in that area was very helpful and went beyond customer service. I didn't get his name but he did a well done job. He went and got a cart for my items and loaded my purchases into a pull cart. Great customer service. This is why I drive to the Albany store from Toldeo. Thanks for the great service.

I have been treated like my thoughts and concerns are meaningless regarding a entry door that was installed by The Home Depot purchased from the 4009 store in Albany. They have tried to place blame on the vendor Feather River, while Feather River tried to place blame on The Home Depot. Feather river tried to make the situation right by sending a replacement slab. While that might have been a suitable fix, The Home Depot requires that I pay for another installation fee to have the replacement slab installed. It baffles me how I as the customer should be punished for a faulty product that Home Depot sold and installed for me. Completely unacceptable.

Nothing personal against the albany store, its just the first store to tell me my veteran designation on my state id is not sufficient for a military discount. According to the cashier it is a home depot policy not a storw policy; I had to provide sufficient evidence to the state to recieve that designation on my id and I will be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Home depot has always had the items that I needed. Associates are always friendly and helpful. Someone was always pushing a broom.

Products are easy to find, if not an employee was able friendly and helpful in locating it. The store is always clean.

The customer service went above and beyond during my visit there on May 17. They helped me load my car with building materials. The associates were friendly, helpful and smiley!

Staff is always helpful and go out of their way to make sure you get what you need

We went to home depot looking for a lawn mower and my wife wanted to go cheap, but the skilled and highly train sales associate was able to bump us up to a better mower and we saved money and six months interest on the home depot card. The customer service was sharp they made us feel very comfortable at a busy time of the day. Dealing with difficult people isn't always easy but these people are pros at keeping cool and spreading them selves out making sure they met the needs of their customers. Very pleased!!!!!!

As simple of a project as it may seem, I needed a desk for my home office and decided to build one; it may seem simple, but it is a huge part of me with my career and life change I am making. I called the store before I came in and spoke to Jordan in lumber. I work in home improvement retail and I was absolutely impressed with the immediate and outstanding service he provided, he knew what he was talking about and gave me recommendations and bounced ideas around. Ed later helped me with picking out the actual wood in the store, cut it for me, and gave me suggestions on staining and finishing it. The store was cleaner than most Home Depot locations I've been to.

Most people in the store were friendly and helpful, but there were 4 employees standing near the checkout area chatting and only 1 regular checkout station open besides the self checkout. I didn't want to use the self checkout due to the size and weight of one of my items, the self checkout cashier offered to scan them in for me. Everything made it back into my cart after she scanned them except 2 small items that she bagged. I didn't see where she put them after she bagged them, so I assumed they went back in my cart like she had done with everything else. I didn't realize until after I got home that they never made it back to my cart. When I called to complain about it, I asked for a small discount considering how much my total was that day...they refused and became rude on the phone. So I returned the entire purchase and went elsewhere.
