This is my go to store for tools and equipment. Always stocked and the folks are very helpful and courteous. The store is one of the older ones but it is clean, well organized and just flat busy which is a testament to how good it is. This visit was to pick up a garden tool which then website showed 1 in stock so when I got there I found it but it was up in the overhead storage so an employee asked if I needed help I told him what I wanted and where it was and he went to get the big ladder and retrieved my item. It came to be that it was the display item so the employee went to check to see if it was ok to sell it, it was, I bought it and am very satisfied with the entire experience.

have always received assistance if needed; products pretty easy to find; close to my home so it's easy to get to. Have received good assistance also in the Plant Dept. and appreciate that the plants will be replaced if there is a problem.

The store is clean. The times I have gone there to shop, all employees I have come in contact with have been most helpful. They direct me to where the products I need can be located. They also help with self checkout. They are all very friendly.

I , also, was at the Fairview Rd. , Asheville, NC. specifically looking for a red out door umbrella that was advertised on internet for $39.99. The associate went to get efforts to find one, as there was none an floor. He actually went to a truck out back and found one. I went home very HAPPY!! Great employee...went the extra mile!!

Great experience. The sales people were great and helped me save money by keeping me from buying the wrong item for the job I was doing. The store was clean and well organized.

I'm generally a Lowe's shopper, but Home Depot carries quite a few items Lowe's doesn't. The quality if always equivalent, the staff are generally helpful and knowledgeable, and it's usually a good shopping experience. Though I'd like to get the same overall 5% discount I get across the street. :-)

Home depot had the exact shower we needed to replace our old one. Lowes does not carry this product at all. Our house is not THAT old. It was built in 1995. If we bought the one at lowes we would have to do a major bathroom overhaul. With this shower from Home depot all we had to do was replace the showerdoors and floor.

The associates are GREAT! Have been successful and happy with service since moving to Asheville. Latest project was creating a screened porch and JULIE was wonderful in helping secure a pre treated screen door and a Brisa hiding screen door, both of which were unavailable in stock and undamaged. Thank you Julie!

The service I received in the pro-department from Santana and Loretta was outstanding and I definitely would get more building supplies from this location.

I always shop this store first for my project needs. 9 times out of ten I find what I'm looking for be it a particular bolt, a prybar for lifting doors an odd sawblade or a shoplight ballast from a very old light - the sales associates are there to help, not just to tell me in which isle I might find something. The one time the item I'm looking for is not in the store they will check online and even order for me if I wish. If not online they will not hesitate to offer alternatives or even mention other stores that may carry the item for which I'm looking.

This store and the Lowe's on Tunnel Road are competing for the worst big box Hardware / lumber yard in Asheville and I will not come back to this store except to return some items I'll drive 40 miles in the other direction because the evening store managers don't seem to care about customers in the store choosing instead to answer incoming phone calls instead of helping someone with a cart full of merchandise worth several hundred dollars. I miss the family-operated stores the big corporations drove out of business. Corporate mediocrity on steroids.
