Love shopping at the Home Depot

I shop at the Bolingbrook store 1 to 2 times a week. Awesome store because of the excellent staffing. They go above and beyond their jobs. Clean and orderly

The store is generally my favorite HD if I want service. None of the other HDs in my area compare. So shout out to the store. Eric and Ed in flooring were good. There was a worker unfamiliar to flooring who tried to help view things online and rather than keep guessing he knew to call for help. The person who helped was able to pull samples of all the cap a tread colors which saved me significant time trying to find them. Prior to flooring experience, there was a manager in appliances that helped me with wallpaper. But what sticks in my mind most today is how far above and beyond Denise Hall from measure services went in helping me. So the day I planned to sign and pay for new floors for a townhouse Ed send email (great job) to say he sent the quote. I did not get the quote so I called the store. Store suggested I go to measure services and they could pull it, they supposedly tried several times to send unsuccessfully. I called measurement services and Denise answered and listened to my frustration. She contacted the store, was able to rebuild my quote off of notes and computer entries made by Ed and was able to successfully send me a quote and also identified the cap a tread was not available and the store (cap a tread guy) remembered the samples I looked at so they gave substitute suggestion. Don't know who Denise talked to but kudos to that person for allowing Denise to go above and beyond. In the end, Denise got it all right and took the time and seriousness to know how important it was to have it right. Now I can only hope the install is much smoother than the experiences that lead up to 6/15 order finally.

This store consistently has what I'm looking for in stock. The garden dept, even for late in the season for planting was well kept and had a good selection. The parking lot employees get an A+ for being helpful (without being asked ) and courteous!

For the last ten years or more I’ve got no hazzle with this The Home Depot store. Of course, there were some flaws sometimes but it’s only minor and tolerable, nobody’s perfect isn’t it? Overall it’s still a convenient place !!!

This store can provide everything we need to remodel and re-hab, or just to upkeep the house unless it is a specialized item. Nice Job!

The Home Depot in Bolingbrook is an absolute joy - always a positive and clean environment with cool people who are ready to help. Been coming here for all of my home improvement needs for the past two years, and I’ve not yet had a negative experience.

Visited the plumbing on 4/7/23 at 5pm and the representative in the (I am guessing) was just starting his shift, went out of his way to listen, understand my concern. He rendered suggestions. His recommendation worked. I am very impressed. My regret is, I wish I had his name, darn it

Kevin C. is very humble and has compassion and kindness towards the customers. He goes above and beyond; he help me with my order even though it was not in the section he was working; and additionally loaded the items in my car, even though it was not his assigned area of work, too. He filled a void where other employees lacked.

My son and I were at Home Depot we were approached by an employee named Jack. Jack offered to help us find what we were looking for. He took the time to walk us across the entire store to the correct location! While walking he took the time to ask how our day was going and he was extremely polite! Such a great experience! You just do not get that type of customer service now a days!

Shahud was wonderful - very friendly and unbelievable helpful. He is a wonderful example of an excellent employee!

I purchased a DeWalt power tool with an offer for a FREE 4ah battery. Upon arrival to pick up the order, the employee told me that the battery will not arrive until the following Monday. The second employee told me that I could get the free battery if I canceled the order and purchased again in the store. When they canceled the order, they then told me I would not recieve the funds for 3-7 days before I could make the purchase. The other items I purchased were not available and they said they could not cancel the order. In conclusion, I gave this Home Depot location $520 and received nothing in return.

Yesterday I went to this home depot and had multiple employees come up to me asking if I needed help, all of which were knowledgeable or able to find someone else who was. A manager named Luke went above and beyond and helped me out when my car battery died and I was stranded while it was -10 outside with a windchill of -30, was going to be stuck for a couple of hours if he didn't jump up and help, even though he really didn't need to nor was it his job to do that lol.

I brought a Samsung refrigerator , and the delivery team attempt to deliver my refrigerator today. The delivery guy was very rude, started off by asking him to come through the garage, instead of the front door . Told me no without any explanation. Then told me oh this refrigerator can’t fit in the space. I asked him to at least try, he told me no without even attempting. I would never shop here again. The delivery customer service sucks!!!! Very rude and unprofessional!!!!!!

I actually will drive past other HDs to come to the one in Bolingbrook because it’s like coming “home.”

john from flooring did an outstanding job. this transaction was completed over the phone. we found a great price. due to the late night, we decided to call in and make the purchase, john helped me make the purchase. we really appreciate john going the extra mile.

Alicia from paint did an outstanding job mixing my paint. She handled the multiple customers waiting for there tur. At the same time a customer dropped a can of paint. She kept it together really well

I can't say enough good things about the employees I have encountered at this store, especially Christine and Big Mike. What a treat to shop where store employees are actually happy to help you. I will always shop at this location

This store is a well oiled machine! Friendly staff and the place is in order/clean. Jimmy the assistant manager will go above and behind for anyone who has an issue. Must say, out of every home depot I've ever been in, this one takes the cake! Keep up the awesome job that everyone in that store is doing. PS my new trailer Rocks!

Mike Reese assisted me in my new dishwasher purchase. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful! Even talked to my mother/ landlord via video chat and answered all questions. We also talked about our cats while things were processing which I enjoyed
