Girl who helped me at self checkout was awesome… her terrific attitude made my day

I should not have to download or use your app to get my military discount. I do not want to sign up for your proprietary application. Why can't your cashiers use my valid, up-to-date military identification as proof that I am eligible for the discount? I thought Home Depot was supposed to honor and respect the military, not create hassles for us or take advantage of us by insisting on our contact information through your app.

We often go to this location in Darien. The staff is always so helpful when locating a product, or even giving advice on a project that we are working on. Very nice employees!

The Darien store has been my favorate store to visit for over 30 years. There are a lot of professional staff to help with our rug replacement for 4 rooms, Toilets, and most resently my kitchen with new countertops, cooktops,and fan. Thanks to all for their guidance and support.

Carol from the Garden Center was a GREAT help!! She was super friendly and very upbeat!! I felt very welcomed in the Darien, IL store!! Edith was my cashier. She too was super friendly and sweet!! Tons of options to help with any project from soup to nuts. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Great return policy. The Darien store is really a great place we enjoy shopping at regularly.

My dasughter dant afford a plumber so I took a cha nce on doing the repair myself. I went to Home Depot in Darien and Met ZDa ve in the Plumbing dept. He knows his plumbing. He help me select the parts I needed and then explained how to complete the job. I converted Copper plumbing in the kitchen wall to Pvc because of a rusted on copper drain line that destroyed the subfloor and sink cabinet. Dave was great Thank you Dave in plumbing

I had to get additional keys made for my son's property and Lisa was extremely helpful.

If you visit this store, You must meet Charlie. He is an employee at this store and he has customer service skills that ooze excellence. This guy is so helpful, so kind and has an awesome sense of humor. If you're intimidated by the thought of trying to find something on your own in the store, fear no more. The HomeDepot store in Orland Park Illinois is well staffed, friendly and knowledgeable. All employees are pleasant, familiar with each department which make shopping easer, more efficient and quicker. It’s worth the drive.

First time at this location. The experience was excellent!

I stopped in to pick up two items - Home Depot price less than $7 total. I had a printout of the same items from local competitor where the price was about 40% lower, so I thought why not ask for the Home Depot low price guarantee? I did and was first told that, contrary to Home Depots published policy, the printouts would not be accepted. The reason given was that they could have been photoshopped. I found the insinuation both insulting and foolish. Insult a customer over a $2 price match request? When I then showed the manager the prices on the website, I was told that the manufacturer was different, so the item would not be price matched. Note that the items were pipe and pipe fittings - commodity items probably all made in the same factory in China. This is the same as saying there really is no low price guarantee policy at HD. After wasting 10 minutes of my time (for $2) I was finally given the price match. I shop at HD often, but rarely at this store. I won't be back at this store anytime soon.

There are some really rude and unpleasant people at the cashier area.

Ordered a patio heater from this store via HD.com. Somehow inventory got screwed up and my order got cancelled. I called the store and Mike (assistant store manager) Was able to help. He listened to my issue and was able to find a replacement heater. Thanks so much!
