Large selection of merchandise. Employees are friendly enough, when you can find one.

Watch the parking lot for panhandlers & addicts, we recently came out of the store at dusk and were approached by a man who wouldn't let us get into our car without giving him money. We were scared and just wanted to be on our way. I contacted the mgr. but he didn't seem concerned. Will not shop here again.

Keep up the GREAT customer service I rec'd on 9/20/18 and you'll have a customer for life.

Excellant layout, highly recommended. Recommend voice automated Kiost at door entrance that tells customers where items are located.

MISTY DOES A GREAT JOB!

I had ordered a particular item on July 7, 2018 as it was not in stock. 1st I got a call that said it would be in July 14th, then July 22nd, then etc etc etc. I finally got a notification that the item would not be in at all, as it has been discontinued. I called the Dixie Highway store and I believe I spoke with Grant, in the bathroom department. (I had ordered a bathroom back panel for a shower). He assisted my and even called the Westport road Louisville location, where the product I was looking for was available for pickup. I asked why this information was not available when I initially ordered the part. He hem and haw, and finally was told I could pick up the item at the Westport road location. I finally got the part, but have been totally disappointed with Home Depot for this instance, when I could have gone to another home improvement store and got the whole assembly all at once. I do not feel I should have to pay for the part I finally received, as I was lied to about the arrival and the ultimate disdain I felt upon the completion of my project. I will rethink purchases such as that from Home Depot in the future, making sure I have exhausted all avenues before I purchase from Home Depot.

Store was clean. Associate was helpful. Garden center employees the morning I went were extremely helpful.

Most of the time every thing I need is in stock and there is always some one there that is willing to help with what I need.

Just a great place to shop

This is a great place to buy the filters for your HVAC system -- provided you happen to need one of the few sizes they still carry. Home Depot and their competitors across the street both used to carry a wide selection of filters. Now they each carry a nearly identical selection consisting of case upon case of filters in each of just a few sizes. If your size isn't 12", 14" or 16" by 20" or 24" you can probably forget buying it at the store. But if you want one of the sizes that they do carry, you will have your choice of case upon case of filters of various grades and prices from as low as 97¢ to over $10 each. Unable to get any filter my size at any price, I finally gave up and bought two of their cheapest filters in the correct height but smaller width. I took them home and built my own filter from the pieces. That should last long enough for me to order the size I need from some other store. In the course of just looking to find where the filters were I asked three different Home Depot employees where to find Furnace Filters. They were all friendly but each of them gave me the identical quizzical look and none knew where the filters were located. The first didn't seriously try to help but just said I think they are somewhere over that way and pointed somewhat north (we were at the far south side of the store so the direction she pointed was basically the entire store). After making almost a full circuit of the store, I asked another employee -- she gave me the same look and had to ask me again what I was looking for. She admitted she had no idea but said it was her first day working there. She tried to look it up on what looked like a smart phone but couldn't find it (from watching her I don't think she managed to spell furnace). She asked another employee, who gave us both the same look. She also didn't know, but she was able to find the location on her device and directed me to Aisle 29.

Had the best experience at Home Depot today! Beverly in the cabinet department was the sweetest, most friendly, helpful & knowledgeable associate I've had to pleasure of coming across in a long time. You could tell she loved her job & enjoys serving her customers. She went above & beyond to answer all of our questions, make print outs for us to look over for a double oven we were considering purchasing & even set down & wrote out instructions as to how to measure for my kitchen cabinets. She doesn't work on commission, so the fact that she was that helpful is refreshing in today's world. I will definitely be back & I will most certainly ask for Beverly. Beverly, YOU ROCK!! Thank you for being such a beautiful soul! :)

The managers and staff here at this location are helpful and nice. Sometimes though a certain area of the store is missing a representative to help and you must seek and find someone to help. Home Depot/ this store needs to have the Pro services available in the evenings and weekends.

This store always has everything I need however would be nice to see a couple of floor employees to assist

I had a very good experience at this Home Depot , i was ask by several employees if i needed help finding anything , the store was very clean and neat and nice and cool which is such a plus on a hot summer day.

Employees were very helpful and I did not have to hunt for someone to help me like the store across the street. Selection, price and customer service was above par.

Well for the last 8 months we have visited the Home Depot at least 5 -6 times a week. We have spent thousands of dollars and we have always been satisfied with all the employees. Their knowledge at times has been very helpful.

Not alot of sales associate work after 7p.m.

I purchased 822 square feet of carpet for my new home and everything was going great thanks to Alisa the employee who helped with the purchase. When I was contacted by the installation company for the delivery date , they had my old address but I had given them my new one at the point of sale. When they called me back a week later to schedule an installation time, they confirmed with the wrong address yet again. They assured me that it would be corrected and sent to the driver. The day of delivery, the driver called me stating "I'm here ", I replied "Where? ". He was at the old address which I had changed 3 times. Upon arrival and coming inside to inspect the setup area, he asked would I be removing the floating floor that was down which I was under the impression that they would which the rep who took the measurements said that they would. To make matters worse, they had me get the floor tiles inspected for asbestos (150$) before they could do anything which I was out of pocket for also which they were going to lay the carpet over without leveling the floor out or removing it or anything. I tried to get the issues resolved over the phone but no one wanted to come to a compromise a or help make the installation happen. I was simply given the option of paying more for extra removal of materials or cancelation of the order. Disgusted with the whole situation of losing 150$ for testing fees, a days work to stay home for installation, and on top of that being charged a 10 % restocking fee for a service that was never rendered, I told them to cancel everything, reverse charges and cancel my credit line. This was by themail worst buying experience I've ever had. Both my wife and I are disgusted with the attention of detail and and customer service that Home Depot displayed in this transaction and hope that no one else has to experience this.

This location usually has the materials I need. (Electrical supplies) I am happy Home Depot has started carrying hobby supplies, however, I would be happier if they would vary the selection.

Most of the tI even employees are friendly and helpful. This visit was not that experience. The staff member who assisted was condescending and seemed a little put out that we asked for assistance in loading an item. Item purchased had damage. No reduction was offered for price. No offer t replace piece that was broken. They did tell us to go to manufacturers website and order part but that item is no longer offered on web site. Also did not get paperwork to fill out for warranty for this item. This was an experience I am hopeful that we do not have to go thru again at this Home Depot as we shop there for the most part daily for our children pant needs. I am hopeful that this review will help get employee like the one we dealt with tonight change their manners when dealing with the public. And have better customer service.
