An employee helped me find the item (it could have been in one of many different displays), unlocked it and carried it up front for me, which was great. Super-friendly and awesome! On the other hand, at the checkout, they had no bags to put my item in to carry it out to my car, and keep the gift item hidden.

Being disabled the scooter in HD store leave a lot to be desired! All of my disabilities are service connected (I.E. Disabled vet). I have had nothing but good help from emplyees.

Just want to comment about 2 employees, Alan and Alex, who helped me today to choose some lumber and really went above and beyond, they were very patient and helpful. Really appreciated that!

I found everything I needed. The store was well stocked and clean. I also liked how the cashier was at the front of the store.

Today the associate named Janet or Janice in the lumber department provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She left me in tears after she screamed that I was entitled and refused to help me. I asked two different associates to page someone to help me in lumber. I needed to figure out which plywood to use to make a platform for my kid's project. Janet/Janice approached me with a male coworker after I had patiently waited 15 minutes for help. I wasn't upset about the time waited. She approached already seeming disgruntled and asked me what I needed help with. I told her I needed to get a piece of wood that was 20x60inches and she replied that it wasn't possible because they have a "one cut per board" policy. I asked for her opinion on how I would find a solution to getting something that size. She condescendingly replied that I should get a saw. She spoke to me as if I was a nuisance and an idiot. I tried to ask her a few more questions and I couldn't handle her aggression and told her that I waited 15 minutes for help and she wasn't acting like she wanted to help me. She told me that I was aggressive, she wouldn't be helping me, and hastily walked away yelling "entitled much!" Her male coworker stayed back with me and apologized for her irrational attack. I tried to move on asking him for my options and he was extremely helpful (I wish I could remember his name) but I broke down crying as he tried to help me and I asked to talk to a manager. I am not sure of the title of the person I spoke with (I was told the manager was on lunch), but he was a kind man who apologized for his employee's behavior and found a solution for my project. This Janet/Janice woman should not be a customer service representative on the sales floor. She was extremely aggressive. I have never received such poor and unprofessional service. I was terrified and embarrassed. I don't think I will ever return to the Maplewood location because of Janet/Janice. I'm also upset that my two young children had to witness this interaction.

The store was clean and easy to find stuff that I look for also the worker a kind and very friendly.

Tons of people needing help, but tons of employees helping everyone. The customer service was very good.

Dan in hardware was fantastic and helped us best understand how to measure and cut an angle with some of the tools that you had for sale. He was great! I was with my idiot brother who is not very good with tools

Had very good help from chad mulvey! He helped me find out if there was more in stock. Found the product and got it down for me! Very friendly!!

Poor customer service, poor management, insufficient stock, buck-passing lip service, they suggest you "call 1-800-HOMEDEPOT if you aren't happy ".... A week late and many dollars over original quoted price!

been to all Home Depot stores in my area.. this the best one

The associate that helped me with my window shade, was very good at his job and very knowledgeable. Also showed me a shade that met my needs and cut it perfectly, I would give him and the store a 10 out of 10, great store !

Just completed a design and purchase for a new kitchen remodel with the team at the Maplewood Home Depot, and couldn't be happier. I really feel they understand what you're trying to achieve, work with you to formulate things that may still be in flux, based upon feedback you may give on "how you live" - and it was very friendly! I'm not a fan of self-checkout. I feel that, if I'm going to do the employees' job for them, I should receive a discount on each purchase for doing so. Unfortunately, most Home Depots I visit these days frequently have only self-checkout and the pro desk open. This means that unless I want to stand in line behind four or five people using the pro desk (which kind of defeats its purpose anyway), I'm forced to use self-checkout. This particular Home Depot makes this an even less attractive option, because, in the midst of a pandemic, they don't feel the need to disinfect the self-checkouts between each customer. In fact, I did not see them disinfect them at all, nor did they provide any wipes for customers to do that themselves. Further, when I brought this dangerous shortcoming to the attention of the employee overseeing the self-checkout, I was dismissed with a simple "okay," and no action was taken. So, when the next major outbreak is traced back to the Maplewood Home Depot, I certainly won't be surprised.

Horrible customer service. Do not expect any help from assistant manager Angie or Manager Jeff, they are awful!

Very unsatisfactory customer service. Cashier Al does not have any customer service skills. I've worked at retail stores, and know that customers always come first. Will never make customers get back in line for the second time! Will never come back to shop at this store.

Customer service at the Maplewood Homedepot is an oxymoron. No one is willing to help or answer questions. Lots of excuses on the part of the store manager. Store was dirty, not well stocked and there was nothing to sanitize carts

Alex at the Pro Desk was AWESOME...went above and beyond, and made us loyal customers.

I had quite a bit of drywall to load up and there was someone to help (zach s) speed up the process getting it onto a cart and then into my vehicle.

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot at this time of the year as I am an avid gardener and Home Depot stocks many products that I will use in my vegetable garden. Also the store is always clean and employee's are friendly and professional .
