I PURCHASED A GAS WATER HEATER. ONLY ONLINE ITEM SADLY BUT DENNIS AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER HELP ME WITH THE PURCHASE. SETTING UP DELIVERY AND SETTING ME UP WITH MY VETERANS DISCOUNT I HAD NEVER USED BEFORE. DEFINITELY A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH DENNIS AT THE HELM

First order: WG41718540 This was to replace an existing small refrigerator/freezer with a frost-free unit, found the 7’ unit from Home Depot fit and ordered.   The first was delivered in two days by FedEx and left on the porch, with no notification. The packing was well worn but intact. Inside, dents were on the edge of the door and the side, and one corner was crushed.     Home Depot customer service explained that a replacement could be purchased again, but that the refund would be delayed until the damaged fridge was picked up by UPS.  It was recommended that the unit be returned at the Pace, FL store and a new one was ordered.    Second order: CM44955866   The new unit arrived the next day with the carton in much worse damage. The FedEx driver refused to take it back. Again, the corner was crushed and the door was dented.   Home Depot customer service initiated a return by UPS to avoid the difficulty of returning to the store. UPS order 1Z87557E7892920069 was to pick up the unit on Saturday before close of business.     The entire day was spent waiting for UPS, which did not show. Home Depot customer service was contacted in the afternoon and verified that pickup was imminent for that day. It did not.   At 8:30 PM, Home Depot customer service was again called and informed us that the pickup would not have been done, but would be the next business day.  The second UPS order was 1Z87557E895321577.   An email was received from UPS informing that notification would be sent. It was not.   Sunday, UPS was called and informed us that the pickup would not be made until next week. This was unacceptable; Rather than keeping the second damaged unit and waiting for an unpredictable pickup, the refrigerator was loaded into a private vehicle and returned to the Pace Home Depot store.   The Home Depot customer service representative found an equivalent model at the Pace store which we visited. However, when informed that it would be shipped, we quickly declined and visited a competitor.  Not only did they have an acceptable model on the floor, but it was in stock and would be delivered the next day (Sunday) at no charge. It is now in place.    I found the Home Depot customer service personnel to be pleasant and accommodating. The customer service personnel in Pace, FL were similarly professional. All other interactions have been deplorable. In summary, I cannot and will not recommend Home Depot to my contractors without my approval and after soliciting other sources.  

I asked where extension ladders were from 3 employees in lumber who were socializing with one another and the just pointed to aisle. Cashier had attitude

I had to travel to Pace to return an item that my local store did not have. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by a lady at the CS desk. She proceeded to connect me with BROOKE who handled my item exchange. I went to get the new item and when I returned, BROOKE promptly exchanged it. She went the extra mile to help me and even wiped down the cardboard box because it was dusty. I then went to purchase another item. While browsing for what I wanted, KELLIE approached me and asked if I needed help. She then explained in detail and with expert knowledge about fluorescent/led conversions. Her explanation was better than what I had even researched on the internet. BROOKE and KELLIE went above and beyond what is expected nowadays. Give them a raise!! I will definitely consider driving a couple extra miles to come to your store over my own because of the customer service I experienced. I spent two hours in the store closest to home the other night, and no one ever greeted me or approached to help. Thanks to the whole team at the PACE store for such a good customer experience!

I entered the store very frustrated about a faulty product and after just a couple of minutes at the customer service desk, Brooke had turned my frown upside down! Turns out It was under warranty and she was able to exchange it. Big thank you.

Every person I saw greeted me and asked if i needed help! Dennis, Anthony, and Alex assisted me in my shopping, and made it a wonderful shopping experience. I wish every store was more like the home depot.

Yessi from customer service did an awesome job trying to get my military discount and other discounts added to my carpet installation purchase. She was kind and professional and really took the time to ensure that we could try and get the discounts. She made me feel appreciated and I look forward to her expert help in my next home project.

I go to Home Depot for a lot of items and my husband and I shop here frequently. It’s easy to find things we need to fix up our home or many other items for projects to cleaning and lawn care. We love Home Depot

I walked in the store tired. The cashier Meliah had a very radiant smile. Made me feel welcome. Walked back to the trim & the lady there was also very friendly & helpful. This is a great store to shop in, the employees are eager to help you. Good customer service is a must! I like the "thank yous" and " your welcomes" instead of its "no problem".

Lots of ppl standing around talking but no one helping people. Seems like a waste of manpower since people are having to check themselves out.
