I found what I needed at your store

Good parking, friendly associates, well staffed and well stocked!

My wife and I with our little dog had a great experience with Max late in the evening while deciding on what dishwasher to buy to replace our very old Bosch that I had repaired once before. When she saw how hard I was working for 2 days trying to repair it again she had mercy and we went to the local Home Depot to buy a new one. Max was not only very knowledgeable but made us comfortable while we made our decision.

So it was the Fourth of July and everyone was closed except for Home Depot. I had a water heater go bad and I have four girls living in the house. Brad was able to get me into a good priced water heater. He then offered his services to come over to my house and install the water heater after he got off work at Home Depot. He did all this on the Fourth of July without hesitation. Brad showed the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. We will be going back to Home Depot in Sherwood because of him. I would recommend this Home Depot in Sherwood, because of Brad and workers like him there.

I purchased Materials for a fence to help a nonprofit and the staff, especially Mario, was very helpful and even discounted the materials for the project. Home Depot’s willingness to provide support to the community and the staff have turned me into a lifelong customer.

I had the best customer service buying four appliances. Home depot is delivering and installing and hauling my old appliances away !!

Rob, in the lumber section of the store was super nice. He very patiently made several cuts in a piece of plywood for me.

When purchasing our refrigerator, Max was indispensable! He gave me the info we needed, helped make sure we understood tricky parts of home installation and managed the tight delivery calendar in a way that worked great for us. I highly recommend making your purchase when he is there.

The Sherwood, Oregon store was not only clean, tidy and organized but Fred who helped me find a couple of obscure plumbing pieces went way above and beyond the norm to make sure I had the right parts and Mat at checkout was terrific and motivated me to download the HD phone app.

I'm working on a project where I need to paint some wood frames black. Dave in the paint department was able to get me the primer I needed. When he heard what color I'd be painting, he offered to tint the primer for me, something I never would have thought to do on my own. Super helpful, glad I ran into him!

Max helped us select our electric range. He made the experience easy and positive. Thank you Max. Your experience and expertise in the appliance department pays off!

When I shop at this Home Depot I appreciate the discount given to Veterans. I appreciate that they always have a motorized wheelchair if I need one. I also appreciate their friendly cashiers, especially Olivia.

The store manager, Geri Downs, is incredible at making sure customers are satisfied and feel valued. This is my third home improvement project using Home Depot and their exceptional vendors. I am certain this window covering project will be great as well.

One of your store employees Randy helped us quite often when we came in for our decking supply issues. He even remembered our names why we were there. Asked were we in for more deck material? We said yes and he was more than helpful. Then on another occasion your employee Oliver from Britain helped me put the lumber on top of our SUV since I have a bad back and not 6 foot tall. Oliver was a big help for getting the five pieces of lumber on top of the car and tying it down. Thanks to Randy and Oliver

I had a list of items to purchase for a home remodeling project. While I have a good general sense of where I need to go for the items on my shopping list, having employees check to see if I'm finding the items I need is a huge bonus.

Dylan (I hope this name is correct) helped us to buy the freezer. He was very helpful and kind. When we had a question about the product and carrying option, he had his best to find a answer. And another employee at customer service return desk, the guy was very friendly too. I had very nice experience today. Thanks Sherwood

Two associates had closed off two aisles this morning because of a forklift that was sitting idle in one aisle. I run a warehouse and understand safety and why the aisle was closed. I watched as to associates joked and searched for an item in one of the closed off aisles with what I later discovered was a customer that had gone around the barrier. I and other customers waited about five minutes. The customer and associates didn't find what the customer was looking for on the shelves and the customer laughed with them and headed out through the barrier and said to me "just tell them that you need something and go through the barrier like I did. They won't care." Then behind the customer came one of the associates while the other one moved the unused forklift. The associate said to me and other customers, HEY, LOOK WHO'S WAITING LOL. I said, if they hadn't allowed a customer to go through and spend time laughing and joking with the two of you, I would have been in and out of the store by now. The associate didn't at all like what I had to say and started arguing with me. Eventually he said to me "you don't have to shop here - there are other stores where you can shop". As you can imagine, that didn't go well. I spoke with a woman at customer service that identified herself as one of the managers. I didn't feel like she listened or cared to hear my story. I didn't make the purchase but did as the Home Depot associated suggested and took my business elsewhere. I'll be doing that from now on. I realize that finding good help is difficult but I would say that if one of my employees suggested to a customer that they 'take their business elsewhere', I'd suggest to the employee that they take their employment elsewhere. There are other choices for shopping in my area. I won't be back.

My wife and I ordered the door through Home Depot. The doors for our whole six different times over. Three months. Twice we’re told the door was at the store. So we drove there and it wasn’t. When the door finally showed up and I got it home. It was a wrong door wasn’t even close the door we ordered. Ralph double checked the measurements. And our measurements were correct. The door they shipped this was not the door we ordered that’s a fact they just shipped a door to get rid of us. The door manager never called me per The Night Manager. Then the night manager refuse to return my phone call. I was giving three options by Ralph. None of three were acceptable or even close what I want to do. I’m not Jerry Riggin my door. I can’t believe they want to be to put a door kit on it. So I came up with the ultimatum I would bring in my door and their door. So they can double check them and order me a new door. I called the main manager and told her I was coming in I need help unloading the doors because I had back surgery. She made me stand in line and she did not show up . And I had find somebody on my own to get theget the doors out of the car and onto a cart. April saw me and greeted me and found someone help me out she was a sweetheart. I told him that I was told us to take the door back to Ralph and he take care of everything. But the manager told them and me that I had to go sit in customer service line and wait my turn to return the door. Then wait in line at the door area and then talk to Ralph. And RalphI was like why did they make you do that I told them to have you bring the door back to me and I’ll take care of it. Well the girl at the customer service desk was rude . Far as I’m concerned so as a manager. After all the struggle we all agreed that twas not the door he ordered and the door manufactured just shipped the door to get rid of us. I cannot believe that they would do such a thing. I will never buy a door of Jelldwin again. Now we have to wait up for three months to get our door. I had to take the other door home and we hang it. So not fun. I was promised the door was gonna get rushed we know that’s not going to happen. Home Depot says they will deliver the door to me and make sure it’s the right one. . They could’ve hung the door that was said to be wrong And just ordering the correct door jam. They managers told me they don’t have construction people. That’s a crock because Home Depot has subcontractors that do roofing siding and flooring because They did my floors my bosses roof. Home Depot should sent a contractor out to my house and fixed the door. Ralph gave us a $300.00 discount. Still not happy. I have a suv. And the door doesn’t fit all the way so the tail gate has to be partly open. I had errands to run and had to listen to that buzzer for over 2 hours. On my way out I had to pick up a few things and wow April saw me and took care of me with a smile.

I love this location it is very convenient staff is friendly plenty of parking hardly ever crowded great place if you're in a hurry to get in and out

We shop at Home Depot a lot and over the last 12 years have dropped close to $100,000 here and never felt bad about it. There is a reason why we continue to shop here, excellent staff that know their business and fair prices. Only thing that could make it better is if everything was free.

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and could not be more impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service we encountered at our Home Depot in Sherwood. Jennifer and Max were a dynamic duo who made our shopping experience a breeze. Home projects can be daunting but with local experts like these, we have all confidence that our project will be a success.

We’ve been remodeling an old home for several years now and practically live at this store. The one great upside to that is how amazingly helpful and friendly we’ve found the staff to be! My husband has started accusing me of finding any excuse to go back to Sherwood HD from Newberg because it’s MUCH more enjoyable to banter and work with its staff than to tape down Ramboard or clean out old vents!!! :)
