Store customer service was excellent.

In the survey I just completed, I had complained about the lack of help in the flooring department and how long my wait was. But, let me add, each associate that walked through the department and told me they would get me some help, actually forgot about me once they walked off. I doubt it would take a knowledgeable employee over 2 hours to make their way back there knowing I was waiting. The main reason I sat for so long on my only night off was to see just how long it would take for someone to come help me. Some night off, huh?? And I keep coming back! Why? Because I actually like the store's products.

Organized, but some of the management employees seemed frustrated, with their current situations at work. (Short staffed etc.)

I was told service would be given and it was not. I did an online order for a masterbuild propane and charcoal smoker and I selected I would like the smoker to be assembled. I received an email in 20 minutes stating my order was ready for pickup. Three hours later I got off work and went to the Homedepot and My smoker was not assembled. Customer Service Associate told me she would go back to the assembly line and check on item…. 15 minutes later she came back to the customer service desk with the smoker still in the box and expected me to take it with me. I just asked for my money to be added back to my card.

The store was clean ,found product we wanted got help from nice employee of the store and opened an home Depot account and was out of store in thirty minutes.

The service in the paint department was excellent and the employees helped me to make the right color decision they were very kind and helpful. The store was clean and easy to get around in.

Associates here are always so helpful and friendly! They make it a pleasant experience for me! A young tall African American man helped me find just what I needed, I hate that I didn't get his name. Also, Mary T., my cashier was so friendly and encouraged me to take the survey and I really found her attitude amazing!

First off, your website says this store is in Southaven, MS, but the store is actually in Horn Lake, MS. This store is the best I have found in the Memphis Metro Area by far. Store employees are always friendly and helpful. Store has anything the handyman could want for all home or commercial projects. Store is neatly and cleanly organized makeing it easy to locate what I need. Assistance is generally pretty easy to find. One drawback is this store, and maybe others, do not carry composite lumber materials in stock. All has to be special ordered. Whereas another large home improvement store a couple blocks away in Southaven carries basic composite lumber in stock. Think Home Depot is loosing out on some sales. I now when I need this type of material that I need it then and not have to wait several days for it. I would prefer to purchase this material and pay my taxes in my hometown, not my neighboring city which does not benefit my city at all.

I had gone to another store looking for a particular item and decided to go to Home Depot to do some price comparisons. I found merchandise there that was not at the other store and at a far better price. In addition, the store clerk that helped me took the time to explain the options available which was crucial in the decision I made. When I finally got to the check-out line, there was a bit of a wait. When my turn came, the cashier (Mary, I wanted to remember her name) was courteous and very apologetic for the wait. The customer before me had an issue and Mary went beyond to help her. I told her I understand and there was no need for an apology. I told her it made me feel good to know that if it had been me needing the aid, I was confident that she would have gone the extra mile for me as well. She is an example of how other clerks and cashiers should give service to customers. I give this location "two thumbs up"!

Huge shout out to Odie in the Tools Dept for his help yesterday. We didn't find what we were looking for .... we found something better! Thank you for not giving up on the search!
