Excellent: Willimantic CT appliances
I came to buy a gas range that I had seen online on sale…and had several questions. Caitlin ( ? Spelling) was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient with all my questions and did not complete the sale until I was satisfied that all my questions were answered and that this was the right purchase for me. Now I hope the delivery is as smooth! Thank you!

    Rude employee
    As my wife and I were checking out, a young man approached and began to speak. After informing him that I was not interested in what he was selling. He continued to speak and interrupt my wife and I. He relentlessly continued to inject himself, not seeming to understand the notion that when someone says that they’re not interested, they’re NOT interested. Frankly, the only reason we even shop this store is its location. This young man whom doesn’t seem to understand English, should be taught some manners or fired.

      This location not very good but it’s the closest to me
      I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this location, most stem from a product shown as in stock online but then it’s no where to be found at the store. One time I asked at the service desk after an associate couldn’t find it, and that same associate walked by and was loudly complaining that I had asked to find it. I spoke with the manager who assured he’d let me know when the product arrived. A week later I went back and found the product was on the shelf, no one had ever contacted me. Most of the employees ignore you or just get in your way when you’re searching for an item. I still shop here because it’s the closest one to me but can’t really say many good things about this location.

        Police always there with a license plate reader at taxpayers expense, also I don't need the authorities knowing what I'm doing evey minute of my life! Hire private security!

          Good product, need more sophisticated equipment and training.
          I needed honeycomb shades cut to order. The calculation should be computerized in order to be precisely cut to size. Associate was confused because measurement was to a 16th and the machine only went to 8ths. Many calculations were done by tge associate before the cut. Have yet to hang the shade to see if cut was accurate. Not the associate's fault. Home Depot needs to provide more accurate measure calculation equipment and cutting machine to insure precision and accuracy.

                Great help from Jeremy at Pro Desk
                I had super service from Jeremy at the Pro Desk in locating EXACTLY the right type of flooring nails for my nailer. The nails I needed were not in the correct location so he had to do some digging around to find MY nails.

                    never have the local store order an item for yhou.
                    Website says 36 availabe at store.Sales pers says item never aveilable at store. Clerk says they can order for me.They lie about delivery time. Sales clerk says 2 days, paperwork shows 10-12 days They lie about calling you when item arrives. Item arrived 10 day later and when I went to store was told that I was wrong as they don't call unless item has not been picked up after a long time.

                        I special ordered vinyl fencing. The material was delivered damaged. After getting a refund and re-ordering the item, the second item was also delivered damaged.

                                Staff make this place
                                Not the biggest fan of box stores but the staff at this place really makes the difference. Yes, it's convenient and probably has a lot of what you're looking for like a large store should, but the people make it so much better.

                                  The reason my shopping experience was exellent was because of a particulat employee (Graylyn). Graylyn was extremely busy and made the time to help me figure out the issue I was having. Graylyn is polite, always smiling and always goes out of her way to help the customers. Its because of employees like Graylyn that I keep coming back to this store. These employees are the first responders to any issue a contractor like myself has, and she knows that. Please find the time to at aknowledge her.

                                    I am a 62-year-old woman. I was bold over by the proactive and helpful staff at this particular Home Depot. I was treated by each as though I were the only customer in the store. They asked great questions and gave great direction. I can’t speak highly enough of this crowd.

                                      Ok, managers should more helpful and thoughtful.
                                      I spend over 2,000 we the receipt on the receipts room that’s they can give us a discount the manager that was there keep us wating and have usb11$ discount. I that was was a waste of my time after been in the store for 3 hours. So annoying so upset of the manager that is super talk sand heavy. That was was to trick the customers and pretend that they are helping. That’s my opinion!!!!

                                          I Felt at Ease
                                          Not being a DIYer or a contractor, I can feel intimidated in home improvement stores. This Home Depot, though, made me feel comfortable. The associates were very polite and kind. They made me feel as if I were a valuable customer, not simply a guy who is unsure of himself with home repair.

                                              A company that stands behind its products
                                              Had a small issue with a husky sledgehammer that was quickly handled by Robert at the return counter. He went above and beyond to search out my receipt from a different store, offered multiple solutions for me and did this all while apologizing and truly making me feel like he cared about a customer. Customer service is a dying art these days but team members like Robert give me hope.

                                                  A Home Depot Big MESS UP: Order No H6230-116277
                                                  On Monday, August 22, I bought materials to build a deck to be picked up on Thursday 25. As of Monday August 29 the order was not ready and had items needed to complete the deck missing. After 5 days late, they tell me this. I guess they generate list of materials in the computer but never checked if they are available. The afternoon manager told me she would try other stores to see if she could find the missing items and would email me later In summary, incomplete materials are now five days late (kept saying come back next day) but deck cannot be built. Very irresponsible as I had contractors waiting and we had planned to have visitors in the new deck by Labor weekend. Really messed all the planning and it seemed like they never cared.

                                                    I had 3 shopping experiences here in 2 days. I had a few circuit breakers go at the house, several small projects as in cleaning and bug removal. The employees were amazing with the customer service, and aid to all my questions. Keep up the great work!!!

                                                        Ordered product AT the store because they showed they had more than enough product on hand. Paid for product and other things to be delivered. Paid for the delivery of product to be delivered two days later (even though I only live 4 miles away from the store, I figured they were short drivers like everyone else) I received a message saying that my order was OUT FOR DELIVERY around noon. So I called the workers that were doing the job and had them come to start...well, then I get another text saying that my order couldn't be delivered...um, what? When I called the store to see what was going on, after the third callback, they said that they didn't have the product that I had paid for two days ago. They had them in another store, but could not be delivered until next week...they sold me and promised a delivery of "GOODS OR SERVICE" and couldn't provide...from where I from, that's a "breech of contract"

                                                          Every time I go to the Windham Home Depot, I am always met with such nice people. They approach customers and asked if they can help. Many of the other Home Depot centers do not.
