About This Product

The Delavan .60 80B Oil Nozzle has a stainless-steel, hollow orifice and features a brass body. Type B-nozzles produce a spray that distributes droplets fairly uniformly throughout the complete pattern. The spray pattern becomes progressively hollower at higher flow rates, particularly above 8.00 GPH. Provides smooth ignition and efficient combustion, particularly in larger burners. This boiler replacement part is compatible with an oil-burning appliance.

Q:I have a Beckett CMF 2 80 PO conv model AF15 furnace is this nozzle compatible?
by|Jan 8, 2017
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Sorry Beckett does not make furnaces. Beckett makes burners. The CMF 80 is a furnace made by Nordyne often marketed under the name Miller for use in mobile homes. The Miller furnaces will often use a number of possible nozzles. The appropriate nozzle will be the one that gives the best response when the oil tech does there draft test. Each furnace will react different when tide to different chimneys. So the nozzle in question might be the right one if the furnace was installed in my home but not burn correctly if the furnace is in your home. It all depends on the draft characteristics of your chimney. The owners manual for that furnace will give a range of nozzles that could work then the oil burner tech will dial it in when they do the draft test.

In the whole store, there was only two sizes of nozzle. out it the the two sizes, one of them happened to be the one I needed. They were on a shelf in a makeshift plastic tackle box, very hard to find and only maybe five of the two sizes in the box. I recommend a section dedicated to oil burner nozzles and other common parts.

        Adequate & available
There's something to be said for finding the right size and having it be in stock. I guess adding durability to the list would have been a bit much to also ask for. The 1st nozzle didn't last through one heating season, good thing I bought two of them.
