Which connector can be used to easily connect two of these? Also, is there a connector that has a bit of flexibility to make a slight angle when connecting these. Also, what is the drain basin or inlet that HD sells that can be used to more easily collect the water to be drained? (the drain basin in the video, is that sold at Home Depot)?

Answer:
No. This is HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) pipe. Different than PVC pipe. This pipe has a thinner wall thickness than schedule 40 PVC, therefore it is usually much cheaper. It is mainly used for yard drainage and septic systems but can collapse over time if not back filled and compacted properly with suitable material such as sand or stone. Not usually accepted for sanitary sewer use in some areas. Not Read More

Answer:
Because the pipes are meant to lay on the ground holes down. When water floods upwards, it enters the pipe and then the water gets a free ride to the end of the pipe (assuming you have it on a grade/decline)
