The AllFitHD Lawn Sweeper features an industry leading super capacity 26 cu. ft. heavy duty collector bag and an extra wide 50 in. sweeping path allowing you to get your lawn care done faster than ever. Exclusive patented spiral brush sweeps more efficiently than standard sweepers and puts less stress on gears for longer life. No-slip positive lock height adjustment will not vibrate out of position and has easy to remember height settings. Hopper easily empties by pulling rope from the seat of your tractor. Customer Questions & Answers

Does this pick up leaves or just grass clippings?

We have a smaller yard, but the neighbor's leaves blow into ours constantly. Will this suck up the leaves? We have a Kubota tractor (with a hilarious custom paint job) that we won that will easily handle this product if it works. Thanks
Asked by: Mark
it picked up fresh leaves very well, old leaves that had begun sinking into the ground, not so well. it got all of the pine cones and a lot of the fresh pine needles too.

Will this sweeper pick up acorns?

We have three large oak trees which drop thousands of acorns every three years (we call it the "acorn apocalypse" when it happens). Curious if the brushes will pick up the fairly heavy acorns?
Asked by: aliensporez
Yes. I easily got the acorns and chestnuts. It was definitely a heavier dump so you may want to not fill as much as with just leaves.

Undulations and depressions will cause it to work less well but that is the nature of any sweeper, not just this one. It also seems to be built tough, much tougher than the one it is replacing (Brinley). There are a few "design shortcomings" that could be better but are minor issues one of which is modifiable by the end user to correct. The non user correctable issues are the hopper opening is a little low at the top and a fair amount (looks like 10-15% to me) of leaf material hits it like a ramp and flies over the back instead of going in the hopper. Grass did much better. If the rod was maybe 2-3 inches higher it would probably perform better with leaves. The correctable issue it this, too much of this is held together by "pins". While the cross rod above the hopper will probably survive the life of the unit with just the supplied pins, I would replace the mfg. supplied pins at the bottom of the hopper with at least a cotter-style pin that can be more permanently attached. I say this because in the first 30 minutes of use, mine threw a pin (that is now somewhere in my yard waiting to puncture a tire on my lawnmower) along with the 3/8" button it was holding. I ended up replacing both sides with a 3/8" bolt and a nylon lock nut. One note, if you use the bolt and lock nut solution, do not tighten it fully as the oem button and pin setup allowed it to pivot freely. Make sure you leave it loose enough to pivot after using the lock nut fix. Had I not lost the button, I would have probably replaced the supplied pins with cottters and used the supplied button. The supplied connection pin used to attach the sweeper to your tow vehicle also bounces up and down enough that when using the lower two connections, it did come unhitched a time or two on me but did not bounce all the way out nor did I lose the pin. This can be fixed easily with a drill press and pin hole in the bottom of the connecting pin or just a rubber band if desired. I have only used it a few hours so far but am quite satisfied with the performance of the unit fulfilling its purpose. To me as a long time DIY handyman, the design flaws are a minor annoyance. To a consumer not familiar or comfortable with field modifications, they might be more concerning. I attached photos of both issues with the fix at the end of the review.

This is a Great Time Saving Addition to My Yard Tools I bought this lawn sweeper specifically to sweep up leaves in the autumn. I have about an acre of lawn and it is surrounded by trees, mainly oaks, and the grass becomes completely covered with fallen leaves if not picked up. Reviewing the options for removing leaves I looked at the baggers suitable for my tractor but there were a significant number of buyers who were not fully satisfied. I put a lot of faith in the user reviews and find them to be both helpful and accurate. So I decided on the lawn sweeper instead. It is cheaper, reasonably efficient and easy to use. The sweeper arrived in a large box and weighed 109 lbs according to the delivery note. The main parts needed to be bolted together and assembly took me 90 leisurely minutes. Several reviewers have mentioned a small amount of damage on the brand new sweepers. Mine is no exception – a slightly bent metal lip on the left side of the hopper – it does not affect performance and is not enough to warrant me returning and exchanging the item. I have used the sweeper three times now and it takes me about 90 minutes to sweep my acre of lawns. They are not the super smooth flat rectangle lawns seen in adverts – mine have several gradients, are lumpy and there is barely a straight line anywhere. I find it picks up even at very slow speeds but even slightly damp leaves are much trickier to collect. Breezy conditions and moving too quickly makes some leaves come out of the hopper. I fastened a cargo net over the opening but it did not help much. For next season I will fit some closely meshed type of material which should help. Emptying the hopper while remaining on the tractor is a great time saver and I made a loop in the hopper cord and put it over one of the tractor control levers. It just rests there and there is no strain on the lever – see photos and video.

I don't have a leaf problem , but the pine needles are inches thick on our front lawn in the winter. This machine worked great on pine needles . I had to empty it about 25 - 30 times but , it only took me about 3 hours to clear 2 acres of needles .

He recently had neck surgery and has a brace on his neck so it couldn't have been too difficult LOL.. We attached it to the mower and away I went. I'm in love!! It picked up the leaves, several of the little cones and even some silt that had bunched up from the rain. I think I will be using this ALOT!! I like the curved brush. A small issue that I would change is the rope that is attached for pulling the basket up for dumping is a small one. Hard for me to pull up without winding it up on my hand. I may attach a thicker one with a loop or something for me to pull easier. Also not sure about it working in my ditch because of the uneven ground but that's minor and I can rake that myself. I've only used it once for about an hour so far but totally happy with it. Saved me time and saved my back and hands.

I looked at smaller sweepers, but chose this one for it's wide sweep. I have an acre of land and tons of leaves to clean up. I had some difficulty with part of the assembly, but worked through it. This sweeper is well made and should last a long time. Too late for a photo, my sweeper is put away for the winter.
