Champion 4 1-piece 1.6 GPF Elongated Toilet in Bone-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Toilet won't stop leaking! We have had this toilet for about 1 1/2 years. It was easy to install and operated perfectly for most of that time. About 3 months ago we noticed that it was filling the tank about every 10 minutes. So much for water conservation. I bought a new rubber seal for the flapper and installed it. A day or two later it started leaking/refilling all over again. I've tinkered with it to make sure the seal is installed properly but no improvement. Due to the design, I cannot install a 'generic' flapper assembly. We have since taken this toilet out of service completely until we decide our next move. We are very disappointed. I expect our next toilet will be a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going back to [...] to buy 3 more! I have a 14-year-old custom - built house with 4 old" American Standard toilets --- Cadet 2 --- none of which ever worked properly from day one. I would have needed to marry a plumber! My best friend was my plunger along with a professional - sized "snake". I swore to myself I would never buy another American Standard toilet for so long as a lived. That was until I saw the Champion 4 at [...] I read the brochure but didn't believe it initially. [...] Well that was the best birthday present I ever got probably also the wierdest one too! We are going back to [...] to buy 3 more Champion 4 toilets! They really are the best toilets in the world and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a toilet that really does deliver what it promises to deliver. I can hardly wait to replace those other 3 toilets and throw out that horrible plunger!!!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Mother WOW! I cannot adequately express my consumer glee over this terrific innovation of yours; it's made our lives SO much better. You see, we have three children, one of whom was a big plumbing investigator (do you want to hear the story about the tape dispenser?), another of whom single-handedly supports the toilet paper industry, and the third has a medical condition which leads to, um, industrial needs in the bathroom. Needless to say, my husband and I know all anyone could ever want to know about unclogging, removing, purging, snaking, septic sucking, etc. We kept wax rings in stock until my husband brought home one of your Champion toilets. It just flushes. Always. Every time. No matter what. It just flushes. Whoosh. A sound to bring joy to a tired mother's heart and peace to her soul. Whoosh. Not whoosh-splutter-drip-MOM!" Just whoosh. No worries about bacteria cholera infectious nastinesses unsightly messes apologies to visitors or the ever-popular embarrassing reminder to guests to "flush twice the new water use low flow thing y'know". Whoosh. We brag about it. We tell family members and the occasional DIY home-owning acquaintance to wait until they're back in stock and not to buy anything else. Guests emerge from the bathroom and ask us about it so they can get one too. I hope you make a zillion dollars - you deserve it!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! Our previous water-saving toilets plugged without the addition of paper. It was very frustrating and inconvenient, to say the least. My mission was to find a replacement that actually did what a toilet is supposed to do. I researched the options and bought the Champion 4 based on the Best Flush rating. We are very pleased with the performance, and will replace the other two toilets in our home with the Champion 4. Our plumber recommended another well-known brand, but when he installed the Champion 4, he told me that 3 of the 4 well-known brand toilets he installed in a home were plugged and the owners were unhappy. I'm glad I did my own research and didn't buy what he recommended. Life is easier now that we are plunger-free!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from seat is painful to sit on I bought a Champion, 4 ADA-height-approved, elongated, at [...]. While the flush feature really does work very well, I was surprised and disappointed to find that the seat is PAINFUL to sit on. Looks beautiful, very sculptural, but because what should be the flat plane of the seat slopes down towards the bowl, you end up with all your body weight (I'm only 135 lbs.) on the edge, on the rim - VERY PAINFUL! Takes all the fun out of going to the toilet! I'll have to see if I can get a flat, more practical, if less sculptural, replacment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Honored To Use It Megaflush. Great for kids. Quiet flush. Quick flush uses less water than holding handle down for full flush. Must have been designed by a female because the lid barely stays up. The tank lid fits too far forward, thus not allowing the seat and lid to lean back far enough. A simple fix if the company will just do it. Even with this flaw, it flushes so great, I feel like I need to salute every time I use it. Best appliance I've ever owned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Have they solved the leaking problem? The Champion toilet has a leaking problem. Mine is a 2005 model. Look on line at all the unsatisfied consumers. I have even replaced the flush assembly, which worked fine for a few months, then the leaking began again. I am afraid I will have to replace the toilet due to faulty design. Before you buy, definitely ask AS if the problem has been solved, or look elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Toilet I love the flushing effectiveness. Its quick, low noise, and is frugal with water use. The height is also perfect. Makes getting up off the toilet noticeably easier than with a lower toilet. The only possible improvement would be a Bidet.
