On the spec sheet there is a 3/4" dimension from the finished floor to the inside of toilet. See attached picture circled in red. Is this the max dimension of the flange flange height from the finished floor? I ask because my flange sits a bit high and I am unable to adjust due to the layout without having to make major changes. Thanks

Answer:
We see that on the spec but if your flange is above the finished floor…this will not allow enough wax to hold the seal between the flange and the base flange…it will be spread to thin. If you cannot alter the flange they would have to shim the entire toilet higher to compensate. All of our toilets are like this…some with even less space. Flange has to be flush with finished floor.

Bathroom door barely clears our current toilet. We have to get a toilet that doesn't come out as far. Can anyone give the actual length of the toilet from the back of the tank (or the wall) to the front edge of the toilet? (The one we have is 30.5 inches. We need to cut back at least 1-2 inches.)

I cannot find the locking mechanism. The white round part spins and moves up and down millimeters, but doesn't release the valve body stem.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 363 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid product Ordered this online and it arrived at the store promptly. Unfortunately it didn't come with mounting bolts or seal. So I had to purchase those since they always rust. This toilet also costs more than many toilets out there. Hence the 4 star review. However, we are very pleased with it. It is well made, the dual flush works GREAT, have never needed a double flush for solids, and the lower flush is very good too. The buttons feel good and the labels are easy to tell which button is which. Lastly, this toilet is not at all loud, as some toilets are. No jet engine effect. I am happy with the purchase and recommend this dual flush for anyone wanting to save some water. June 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great toilet! BUY ONE! I wasn't there when it was assembled, so I have no idea about the ease of installation. You can ignore my review of that, but I got no complaints from the plumber. I bought this toilet to replace one that has been clogging my entire life. This one is amazing. I have been using it for only two months so far, but I have rarely ever had to use the heavier flush. The one gallon flush works for everything. Fantastic! It is very quiet, too! Americans would save so much water if everyone owned one of these. It also fits in my small bathroom nicely. I have never written a review of anything before, but I went online to praise this toilet! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great toilet! This was an excellent choice. It flushes without issue. Great toilet! Also saves water but does not diminish its function! May 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very happy with toilet great looking toilet. Flushes well. easy to install - hey it's a toilet - so no different than most. HD online order came in ahead of schedule. Will replace other toilets with this. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saving water in style Just had this installed in a new bathroom and we love it. It's an attractive toilet (as much as toilets can be) and I love saving .6 gallons with every "light" flush (or liquid flush? Not sure what to call it). Bought the American Standard Cadet slow-close lid and it fits perfectly. Very happy with this in the first few weeks of use. December 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by You're Gonna Love This Toilet ! We've been using this toilet for over a month now and are very pleased with its performance. It uses only 1.0 gallon per flush for most waste. Only rarely do we need to use the 1.6 gallon button. The bowl also stays much cleaner than the old toilet, as the porcelain finish in the bowl is very smooth. The flush buttons are located on the tank lid. To flush, just press the button and hold for a count of two. The tank is smaller than the old toilet tank, and sits about 3"-4" below the counter top of the vanity. It takes a little bit to get used to the smaller tank footprint, but does make the space seem a little larger. The only con I can think of is our magazines need to find another home.... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's a delight I bought this toilet in July of 2015 and it has been a delight in every way. It has a smaller foot print than my old toilet making for more space in my small bathroom. The toilet bowl cleans easily and has not accumulated the orange rust in the bottom that my older, cheaper toilet had. I just cannot abide that :-). The power/effeciency of the one gallon flush is such that using the 1.6 flush is rarely necessary, no matter the load. I installed the toilet myself but would not do again simply because the weight of such a project for someone my age was a bit too much. Otherwise, the install was simple and easy enough. I highly recommend this toilet and will likely buy it again for my guest bathroom. The only reason I haven't already is that bathroom gets little use. If you are thinking of buying this toilet, think no more, just do it. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great toilet, but? worked great for the first month, then started leaking and the tank keep filling 4 times a night. was going to replace the valve since it was easier than exchanging the toilet, found the parts replacement sticker came unglued and was stuck in the seat. removed it and now works great again. needs to use better glue or find another place to put it.
