Purchased this product and after 1 year it started leaking under the handle. I contacted AS and they sent me a new cartridge. Called the plumber and they replaced it. It still leaks. $115.00 for the faucet. $100.00 to have it installed, another $75.00 to have the plumber come in and put in the new part. Very frustrating!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best purchase ever Handle is extremely hard to rotate. The plumber told me to move it from side to side every day; I don't know if that is forever or what. There's a website with directions on how to take it apart and lubricate it. Why did they not do that before putting it out for sell. I am not able to take it apart and lubricate it. I am very disappointed with the product because of that reason. Anna Kimbrell

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to Repair After about 5 years it started leaking. Since it was under warranty I was sent another cartridge. In installed it--still leaked. I was sent some other seals for beneath the cartridge and installed them--leaked worse. I had also been sent some additional seals for the spout, but haven't been able to get the spout off. Right not it is completely unusable. I've replaced a lot of seats and springs and seals before, but I have never had such issues as with this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliant Kitchen Faucet by American Standard The faucet looks very nice and is great for rinsing large tall pots with ease. So installed this myself and did not need any extra parts or any extra supply lines as my lines worked fine and I live in a mobile home. When done installing the down position of the handle was on and the up position was off, exactly opposite of how it is suppose to operate. I called the local Home Depot and they said the handle must have been installed backwards at the factory. So I un-installed it and they fixed it for me at the store and I did not have to wait, they did it right away. It only took 3 or 5 minutes and I was on my way back home. It works great now and looks so nice. I do think it cost more than it should, but I am happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Faucet!! This kitchen faucet replaced the cheap doll-sized one installed in our apartment. What a difference! No more struggling to rinse or fill large pots, pans, buckets, etc. The installation was so simple that my husband put it in without the usual 3-4 trips to Home Depot for different parts. Its clean lines are stylish, and its construction is heavy-duty. We plan to enjoy this faucet for many years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase for faucets. Originally bought this American Standard faucet in 2001. American Standard really stands behind their products, with the lifetime warranty. Ours was leaking a few weeks back. I called the toll free number, and they sent us a new replacement cartridge and o rings and seals, at no cost to me. I installed them into the original faucet housing, and it is like brand new again. I will definitely buy American Standard faucets in the future. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mid-range product My review after six months of use: This faucet has many useful features. For example: - Long, extra-tall spout allows large containers and pots to be placed under it. - The spout can swivel can swivel all the way to the side, allowing complete access to the sink. - The chrome finish is attractive and is more corrosion-resistant than certain other finishes. - Cartridges with ceramic valves are superior to rubber seals (like those in some Delta faucets) - Lifetime warranty The only con that I can detect after extended usage: - The chrome finish is slightly less scratch-resistant than the brushed finish. There is some minor swirling, although one must look carefully to see it. One would have to use some effort (e.g. scrubbing very hard with a scouring pad) to make noticeable marks in the finish. Overall, this is an ideal faucet for a typical kitchen. It displays a mix of excellent design and well-thought out features. Also, the price will not hurt your wallet too much.
