This is a large circle I would not pour under it because of cracking.
I don't see any problem pouring around it.

Hi Lbow - Yes you could use concrete around this paver kit. And No you would want to put in the paver kit first and then pour the concrete. :)

I had pavers in my yard from 10 years ago that were the same height.
For my project I needed to add more footage so I used this kit.

Hi Ken, the type of pavers I used around the circular patio kit was a tumbled stone. (see photo) Probably any type of pavers would work but keep in mind that you will want to cut them to fit around the circle so that can be challenging if you lay pavers all the way around :) In my Zen garden I used tumbled pavers under the shade, washed sand, and gravel to enclose the patio kit. All worked well. :)

Here is the link to the Anchor Pavers Website - the PDF file that shows you how to expand the ring with their own 5.5 inch square pavers. If you get your own 5.5 inch pavers you can follow their instructions to add the three additional rings to expand the circle to around 12 - 1/2 feet diameter. Approx 230 pavers of this size will give you the three outer rings with a few to Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great - Very Happy I wasn't sure about ordering this circular paver kit on line but after searching in town and other online suppliers, this looked to be my best choice for my money. I picked it up from my local Home Depot with a flat bed trailer and that worked out well as it is quite heavy!! You will also need to download the instructions from the manufacturer as they come in very handy!! Also don't freak out if you have too many bricks (especially the center ones) because if you follow the instructions it all comes out OK :). I did the complete 9' x 9" and I also included a metal strip around the circle to keep it together. Total time was approx 10 hours (3 people working) and that included laying the weed barrier and sand. I even had some pavers left over to build a couple of small circle steps. I would also recommend knee pads!! :) Looks Great in my Zen Garden - Very Unique. May 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! It was the normal pain in the butt having it delivered and time consuming getting it installed. But having a diagram to followed helped a lot. And it looks beautiful. Definitely increases the value of the property. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outdoor living project We love the circular design and opted to include the extension kit which expanded the circle to 12 ft. This worked better for us since we placed a fire pit in the center and wanted to add a seating wall later as well as a couple of chairs. The project takes considerable prep work and some organization but it was well worth it. We recommend that you download the instructions and the enlarge the diagram. This makes it much easier to follow. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by no cutting for the circle! Just need to take your time and read and follow the instructions, looks great after the sand is installed! August 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy online purchase with absolutely no problems The circle pattern is beautiful and more unique than a square or rectangular patio. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cobble concrete paver I used the paving stones of the 9'-9" circle to make a fourth of a circle. It made a 10' x 10' corner patio. I think it looks great. It was pretty easy to make. I had a few pieces left over since I didn't make the complete circle. You will need to find the instructions on line because Home depot doesn't have them August 11, 2015
