Customer Questions & Answers

we bought this once before and now we have to replace the tub.

Just need to replace the tub don't need the wall I still have them. How do we get another tub?
Asked by: Help
Hello, We do not offer this unit as a stand alone, so regretfully we are not just able to sell the one piece. We would not be able to guarantee a match if not sold as a set. Also in order to effectively install a new tub, the walls would need to be removed becuase the pieces were joined when it was installed.

Will this unit fit through a 22inch doorway?

Asked by: Georgie
No, it won't. The phlange on the back makes it about 32" at the widest part.

Asked by: whydoesitmatter
You may select any shower door at Home Depot that will fit within a 59" wide opening and 48" inches high. You can see complete dimensional information on our web site, or specifically http://aquaticbath.com/products/2603trio-2/ Once on this site, click on Downloads, Technical Data. Hope this helps!

Customer Reviews

60 in. x 30 in. x 72 in. 2-piece Direct-to-Stud Tub Wall in White is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Design I've installed many two-piece shower and bath units over the years, from numerous manufacturers. The 2603302 model has become the Home Depot stock item. It used to be the 26032. The visual difference is the seam location and an interior handle. Non-visible difference is that the 26032 has alignment pins that lock the panel in place at the seam. This unit does not have those. I can install a 26032 by myself as the handle allows one to pick the wall section up and control the unit. This model has no way to hold the upper portion. It took two of us and twice the time to set it. The back wall flexes in and out at the seam due to no alignment pins and the seam gap is 1/4". That is way wider than desired. Additionally, the seam being placed at the deck (flood rim) of the tub means the caulk joint will constantly be in standing water. The caulking will require annual maintenance. The 26032 seam is stiffer, has a smaller joint width and only needs caulk maintenance about every 5 yrs or so. I'll be contacting Aquatic about this poor design. One other thing to note was that tub feet were not the correct length. I was setting the unit in a bed of mortar but the unit couldn't be leveled with out creating a 1/4" gap where the floor meets the front apron. I had to pull the tub back out and trim the feet so that the unit could be leveled without leaving a gap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tub/shower for remodel I am very pleased with this tub/shower combo. It is very solid and easy to clean. It appears to have a very good finish that will last a long time. It was easy for one person to lift into place and install. The size made it possible to get it through the door into the bathroom of our older home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from total junk, cracked in 2 places in less than 2 years This unit is total junk. I bedded in plaster as described in directions. It cracked in 2 places in less than 2 years. I'm a professional and have never had this problem with any other brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Awful - cracked in six months. I purchased in the store and wish I had reviewed online before buying. This tub is complete junk. We remodeled our bathroom in February and sold our house in May. It is now July and the tub cracked when the new owner stepped into it a few days ago. Home Depot should get this item off of their shelves.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plain Junk First off, the surround cracked carrying I into the house, I was able to cover that. the biggest problem is that I live in a house built in 1972 and came with cast iron American standard tubs. I went to drop this in and the drain and over flow weren't even close!!!!!!!!!! I had to completely change my drain and overflow setup and it took me all day just to accomplish that!! What a pain it was, good price but I won't go cheap again!!!!
