50 mailboxes were raided in my neighborhood in Fresno. The easiest one to break into was this one. A simple screwdriver was used to pop open the lock box. The single locking flange is weak and made of pot metal. It bends easily and the mail box pops open.

All in all, I am quite happy with his mailbox. I have it mounted within a column and it is working great so far. Please note, it is quite large and I would definitely not want this mounted curbside, atop a mailbox post at my house. Unless you need it, choose the smaller size. I like sheer amount of mail that this size can hold. It fits very well into a 2'x2' column. I have yet to try it with packages, but it is definitely big enough, that many small packages should be able to fit.
The construction and materials appear to be good. Time will tell, but overall I am quite happy thus far. For the price, I couldn't' be happier.

Really wanted this size box to replace our mailbox (from a Home Depot store) that had been hit by a car; we appreciate delivery to our rural home. Only the drop box was available, but a trip to our small town hardware store enabled us to convert it to a large locking mailbox with the purchase of a flag, numbers, and clip to hold outgoing mail.

The product was exactly as advertised on the website. It arrived in less than one week from purchase
at the store selected for pickup. The store associate loaded it into my car within ten minutes of arrival at the store. I couldn't be more pleased with Home Depot.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TimS Larger size...great secure storage room for lots of mail
I was looking for a quality, lockable mailbox that would go into my existing brick mailbox holder. The larger size Oasis is excellent quality and my brick guy agrees. Wanted the larger size since it is able to store larger mail as well as routine mail.

mailbox is heavy to say the least. it is very well constructed. the only thing is that it did not have a rear hatch. we had our welder modify it a little and added a rear hatch. the welder himself was very surprised at how heavy the box was and advised us that it was very thick metal for a mailbox. the mailbow is big enough to receive shoe box size packages. it is also difficult for someone to get the mail unless you open the rear hatch.

Size great as we get many magazines and books. Secure feeling to know that your mail is safe. Drop down feature easy for mailman. Easy mail retrieval at a good height - no stooping over. Key glides in and out easily.
