Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BDfromPutnam Is it really worth it?
I bought this as an OEM add-on for my Ariens snow thrower. It does exactly what it says it does but I have to question if it is really worth the price versus a generic heavy weight 125V three prong male/female extension cord. I see no difference in quality and construction here.
I give it three stars and I will keep it because it performs as advertised and I do "need" one, but OEM accessories that command a premium should carry some form of premium performance or feature(s). I just don't see the value-add here.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by really918v Don't buy-not needed
Ariens mounts the male prongs upside down (ground plug at top) in the housing on their snowblowers, making it next to impossible to easily connect an extension cord without applying downward pressure/strain. The rounded molding around the ground plug on modern cords prevents this. So I find this product, the area around the ground plug in the photo is FLAT and should easily connect. Nope, actual plug when it arrived is rounded too, no different than your standard 120v cord. Don't buy, complete waste of money.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by lagger Will not fit the newer 28 Deluxe with Autosteer
This and nearly all other 3 prong extension cords WILL NOT fit the new auto steer 28 Deluxe Arien snowblowers. The new engine's electrical connector is ensconced in a plastic housing that is too small to fit a normal cord, I bought a 2 into 3 adapter at the dollar store to get around this desigjn flaw, FWIW the Ariens starts with the pull starter easily and reliably anyway

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jamal Works good like any other extension cord
I used this because I bought it with my Ariens Sno-tek 920404, and it worked the same with another extension cord.
Honestly, all in all you can buy a cheaper extension cord at Home depot thats longer or you can buy one at the dollar store. But on my snow blower it starts fine in the cold so I only used this once.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jswerdna It's a heavy duty extension cord. Not a special cord
This is an expensive ,$20, 10 foot extension cord. It's not a special cord for starting the snow blower, just a heavy duty cord.
