Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yes this fits A20VA46/Model # 960460063 Just wanted to let everyone know this bagger fits the A20VA46/Model # 960460063 Ariens 46" riding mower I bought from Home Depot this spring. It was a question I had myself since it didn't mention it here in the product description nor on the box it came in. They need to update this product description to let those who bought the a fore mentioned riding mower that this bagger is 100% compatible. Easy to install. Hope this helps someone wondering the same thing I used to. Enjoy. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bagger Yep... It bags... My only wishes were that it held more. Cleaning up about half-an-acre of land that hadn't been maintained in 2+ years... Lots of old growth oak and pine... I was emptying the bags every 500 ft or so... I don't imagine this would be a problem for people already on top of their property maintenance. Also make sure everything is seated properly, it isn't very tolerant to being misaligned or improperly seated on the deck exhaust. Otherwise a complete lifesaver.. It has already paid for itself compared to the amount of manual raking and bagging I otherwise would have had to do. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Bagger! I purchased this recently for my Ariens, Model # 960460056, 46 in. 20 HP V-Twin Briggs & Stratton Automatic Gas Front-Engine Riding Mower. I purchased the mower in late May 2014, I also provided a review for it. The bagger works great. It was an easy install. I have about an acre of hardwoods and the leaves get out of control during the winter season. I do have a couple suggestions for anyone looking to purchase it... it will clog if the grass and/or leaves are wet. Also, the bags will fill quickly if mowing leaves, and again it will clog. As long as you're mindful of this and don't overfill it, it works great. I'm pleased with the bagger. January 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bagger for Ariens Have mowed my lawn several times now with this and I'm so happy with it. It picks up everything and holds a surprising amount.I can almost mow my entire .8 acres without emptying it. (Time between mowing is approximately 1 week.) I would recommend this to anybody who doesn't want to deal with clumps of grass in their yard. September 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rubber bands to hold it on? really? Lotta' money for a piece of plastic with some little tubes in it. I would give it a higher rating but manufacturer used rubber bands to hold the bagger on to the mower. How cheezy is that? They will last only one season and then the Sun will rot them and then what? What ever happened to screws? I bought it and installed it and the thing works, but I will have to come up with a way to repair it when it falls off at the end of the coming summer. January 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by that works Finally, a bagger that actually works. Wow. This one is great. My customer service consultant Mr. Don Motley, explained why. Too detailed to go into here, but he was right! Couple the speed of the blades on my Ariens mower (which he sold to me too), the high lift blades, and the design on the discharge system, and it WORKS! iT WORKS GREAT!!!!! So that's all I know for sure...Don sold me the tractor, the bagger, and a mulching kit. Everything was exactly as presented..... I bought all this stuff at Home Depot because of Don. He has unparalleled product knowledge.......and is absolutely the most customer sensitive sales person I have ever met. He (Don Motley) is why I bought this tractor and bagger at Home Depot...I could have gotten it elsewhere, and a bit cheaper too....but simply put: It didn't come with Don! So here we are...I love the product, and Don Motley is the greatest. You should give him a once! January 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Almost Perfect I used my new tractor and bagging system this past weekend for the first time...went from a 14HP Toro rider to the Ariens 22HP - the Ariens moved a whole lot quicker and the 46" made the job faster. The bagging system worked well, except that it does shoot clippings at your back because of the less than perfect noted in some of the other reviews here. I'll probably stuff an old tee shirt into the gap next time I cut. Also...wish the bags themselves were a bit bigger but they worked fine. All in all quite satisfied with my purchase. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rubber seal pops out I just purchased this 46" bagger for my Ariens 46" cut lawn mower. While this bagger fits well onto the lawn mower and the price is really great there was one issue I found that should be corrected at the factory. The discharge tube has to fit through the bagger top and there is a rubber seal around the hole where the tube fits through. The directions say to rotate the discharge tube as you place it through the hole to keep the rubber seal from coming out. The manufacturer could have glued this seal in to prevent it from slipping and coming off. I basically got some Gorilla glue and glued the seal in and when dry the tube went right through and everything worked as advertized. Also this bagger will fit lawn bags but they tend to bulge at the bottom and when taking out the lawn bag are difficult to remove. I may decide to not use lawn bags and just have the grass discharge into the bagger or get fed up with this one and buy something with a little better quality. August 12, 2013
