I have bought a metal shed with a floor frame and an anchor kit included. Can i put this straight on to the grass or will I need to put gravel or paving down first? What tools would be required to erect a metal apex roof shed?

This can all be assembled on flat level ground. If the ground is not level you can use pea gravel to level Have basic tools and materials ready •MUST have No. 2 Phillips screwdriver; we strongly recommend one with a magnetic tip •Step ladder •Utility knife or scissors •Pliers •Carpenter's level •Tape measure Have optional time-saving tools available •Wrench/nut driver •Cordless screwdriver with magnetic tip (strongly recommended) •Extra battery for cordless screwdriver •Square •String (for measuring diagonals to square the frame; when the diagonals are of equal measure, the base is square)

What is the best way to support the floor on a slope? on the side of the house and there's a 6" drop over 4'

You could build a wooden platform, that would be easiest.

Can this frame sit on blocks?

If I put this frame on 6 concrete blocks and thus the frame was a few inches above the ground, would this frame support the weight of the floor, or does the whole thing have to sit on the ground in its entirety?
Asked by: sleepybear
The whole floor needs to be supported.

Floor Frame Kit for Yardsaver Shed is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I paid over $100 for seven very weak pieces of tin that are not strong enough for their purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not so great The metal cross-beams simply set into the frame, which doesn't make it very sturdy. We ended up hammering nails into the frame. If you add the front piece to the frame, you can't add the ramp that comes with the shed kit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not quie what i expected... ...not that i knew what to expect but these are literally just the metal cross beams (the ad picture is a little misleading). they fit into slots on the existing shed frame so they offer no benefit to the sturdiness of the frame itself. these simply allow for a plywood floor to be added. it will do the job but for $100 i expected a little more than cross beams that simply fit into slots...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ms Brooks I purchased this shed floor to go with the new shed I bought. It is perfect and was an exact fit. Along with a good plyboard it is a sturdy floor in an area where I store heavy yard equipment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mr. GRANT Do not get this product. First it is totally different from what it looks like on line. 2. The instructions does not tell you how to install it and 3. It is about 1/4 inch too long for the building. I had to cut the end off to make it fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit the space perfect Takes 2 people to put together and need to set aside at least 6 hours to assemble

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4x10 metal shed No problems, although I haven't started assembling it yet!
