We did a small kitchen remodel and thought our existing tile backsplash would be ok to match the new countertops and appliances. Once the countertops and appliances were in place, the white tile backsplash did not look good at all. Since the countertops were already in place, tearing out the tile backsplash was not going to be an option. After researching my options, the Aspect peel and stick tiles seemed the product to try. We used a combination of long and short champagne colored tiles in a subway pattern. We used liquid nails to adhere to the tile. We had no problems at all installing the product. It took nearly 4 hours with the majority of the time taken to cut the tiles. Once completed we used a clear silicone calk around the bottom and sides. I am extremely happy with the results.

I installed this as a backsplash behind a stove. First, there is no ideal way to cut the pieces to fit, which is going to be necessary. Ended up having several wasted pieces initially due to trial and error. Finally went with a chisel to do the cuts. Found that to get the most accurate cuts. Second, you are going to need an additional adhesive, no question. I put the first ones on over the primed wall, and they all fell off within a week or so.
Overall, spent more time on these than if I had gone with ceramic tile, and I probably spent almost as much.
In the end, looks fine, but it wasn't worth the work and expense.

I wrote the earlier, critical review, because the tiles fell off the walls after being installed by my contractor. Today someone from Aspect called and it seems my contractor failed to prep the wall properly (you have to use oil-based primer). The company has offered to send a rep to my home to do a proper installation. I'm not sure I'll do that, but I'm impressed that the company stands behind its product. The tiles are beautiful, and I'd recommend using contractor's glue or liquid nails to affix them.

I installed as a backsplash. I did it myself and used extra adhesive (I always use the extra insurance route) and I used a chop saw to cut. The cuts were perfect with no rough edges. They are up nearly a year now and none of mine have fallen off, not even directly behind the sink. They cleanup great too. In fact I am buying more to create a frame around a huge mirror in the bathroom! P.S. I have had more poor work done by 'pros' than you can shake a stick at!

We had contractors do a complete kitchen renovation and used these very attractive tiles for backsplash behind the new range and a coffee nook, where the coffee pot sits. They were installed by the contractor, about two weeks ago. This morning, I went to the kitchen and found about ten of the tiles had fallen off the wall during the night. If I'd installed them myself, I'd assume I did it wrong, but these were installed by pros.

I installed these tiles behind our cooktop. They look great & clean well. I prepped the wall to use them as peel & stick but many wouldn't stay up & some fell even a few weeks later. I then used construction glue on all. You only need 5 little dots per tile so I highly recommend going this route.

Just finished installing 20 boxes of tile. The tiles are of excellent quality. They do need an adhesive on the back to hold securely. The directions tell you where to place the adhesive. The adhesive helps you "float" the tiles if the surface is not totally flush.
