Hello Coey,
Thanks for your question. It can be used on unglazed/clay or Saltillo floor tile on a fireplace as long as the coating is not in direct contact with the flames. It can be used on these same tile types on a backsplash (no glazed, glossy, or finished tiles as that will repel the adhesion of the primer and its topcoat). Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 114 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Drippy We thought the paint was drippy and did not cover as well as reviews said it did. We were painting over cream colored walls and ceiling that had been prepped with TSP and rinsed as per directions, then dried properly. We're disappointed that the product did not match the reviews. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product is as Stated and is Genuine My closet organizer kit arrived in good time without delay. The product arrived undamaged despite the UPS man dropping it in my driveway. My only complaint is that the top shelving instructions were NOT included with the kit. September 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product Thick, but not too thick. Lays down and covers nicely. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It was good. Very good. It was better than most used in past..... September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First time painting cabinets We did two coats of primer on our cabinets before starting with paint. This paint seemed to cover pretty well! I painted the cases while still up, so ended up doing three coats because wanted to do them thin enough so they wouldn't drip. This kind of paint stayed tacky for a while, and even after it wasn't, it seemed like it might chip. So that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. We actually left for a bit after finishing, and that helped the paint to fully dry without disturbance. I'm SO happy with the result though!! February 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced' lousy coverage. This is suppose to be a premium paint. They charge a premium price at over $25/gallon but when I started painting the baseboard in my newly remodeled kitchen I knew it was going to be a problem, I used right within an hour after buying it where they shook it for me so I know it was well mixed. The ambient temp in my kitchen is 72º F but this paint was thick and drying as I was putting it on. Making it impossible to spread evenly and leaving brush marks. I bought the most expensive brush HD had. It doesn't cover well and leaves plenty of brush marks. My trim looks like PVC with some artificial wood grain after putting 2 coats of this slop on it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cover it up! Used on walls that have lots of issues with great coverage. We did apply 2 coats for great seal. September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by COVERED DARK GREEN WALLS This Behr Primer covered dark green walls with two coats. I didn't have the dark green paint on 100% of the walls so I just painted the primer where there was green, and when it came time to repaint the new white paint covered it nicely with two coats of the Behr Marquee paint. It blended so well that I don't remember what the dark green looked like anymore. An excellent product! August 16, 2016
