Can this be used for the floor of a shower? It was painted previously, before we moved in, and the paint came off, now the shower floor is just (I think) concrete with shoddy white paint that is constantly coming off in flecks. If that previous coat was removed completely, could this be used to repaint the floor without it coming off in the future?
Asked by: Rudy
Hello Rudy, Thank you for your interest in our products. We would not recommend using our paint for the floor of a shower. At this time, we don't manufacture a product that can be submerged underwater. I would suggest checking with your local Home Depot representative for their recommendation on a suitable paint for your project. Best regards, Kevin

I painted my bathroom door and trim with the satin paint. i want to change it to the semi gloss finish. its been several hours . do i have to scuff it before painting with the semi gloss or can i just paint over it
Asked by: jw
Hi jw, Thanks for writing in with your question. No scuff sanding required if you paint over satin a few hours or days after. You will need to scuff sand to paint over it, once the coating has cured, which takes about 4 weeks. I hope this helps. Have a nice day! Regards, Giovanna

1-Gal. #UL100-11 Powder Room Interior Satin Enamel Paint-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 1250.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this paint. Regardless of the color you choose (because if it's too dark or too light, that's really your own fault) - the color I bought with this paint was very accurate and it went on the wall smoothly. I did need two coats, but barely. Very happy with this paint and will buy again. Note: In addition to this paint, buying good painting brushes also helps. You get what you pay for. I purchased really good brushes so I'm sure that helped as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst paint ever I have used a lot of paint but this has to be the worst. I purchased dandelion to cover a medium brown paint. It did NOT cover in one coat. It was very hard to roll and even using a brush cutting in, it was difficult. I thought maybe it was just me, but my husband painted some and said it was terrible too. I was very disappointed that I spent over $100 on 2 gallons and was stuck using it. I had an 8 x 10 room and a 3 x 8 hall. I barely had enough to paint them both. The hall was an ivory and it even took 2 coats to cover properly. I pray it holds up. I will never buy this again. I will use discount store paint first. That's how bad it was.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One coat cover? This is a good quality paint. I only gave 4 stars due to not covering in one coat. If you are using plain white paint to cover a medium to dark color, it will take (at least) two coats. If your paint has at least a light color added, it covers in one coat. I have used Marquee in several rooms, bathrooms and on an outside storage shed. Even the exterior will not cover Hardi planks (yellow color) in one coat. With that said, between the Behr Premium Plus and Marquee, the Marquee is a better quality paint and covers over previous painted items, easier. FYI, don't look at the paint while drying. It will drive you crazy due to being able to see the original color through what was painted. It will completely hide the covered coat when dried. Behr Premium + Kilz costs more than one gallon of Behr Marquee!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh coat We moved into our new home and it need d some fleshing up. Easiest painting we've done. Went on smooth and had great color when we were done. Used it paint kitchen cabinets. Went on nice and clean and also is easy to wipe kitchen messes off of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Behr Marquee I really cannot rate this product honestly. I bought it and the sales person neglected to tell me that it is only guaranteed to cover in one coat if you use the marquee colors. Behr did make it right tho. They reimbursed me for the 3 extra gallons I had to buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very good I have been using real paint, Sherwin Williams and Ben Moore, but found myself needing to quickly paint a bathroom and thought I could save time by picking this product up while I was at Home Depot for other items. Compared to the above mentioned brands, this paint is messy to work with (much thinner, drippier, prone to splatter) and covers very poorly. I have just applied the paint, so I don't know yet how well it will hold up. I doubt it will be any better than Williams or Moore (I've been pleased with those) and my disappointment with the application of the Behr is enough to never buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No ONE coat coverage Bought this at our local Home Depot as the clerk recommended this product for one coat coverage. I am painting my granddaughters small 10 x 10 bedroom. The color was originally blue and she wanted yellow. We asked the clerk the best paint to get to cover. I am now going back to Home Depot to purchase another gallon. This paint is horrible. Will be applying the third coat tonight. I was reading the other reviews, not sure why people rated this so high. I know, I will never be buying this paint again.
