This injector is just plain awesome. I can't get over how heavy duty this injector is, and just how well it works. It's easy to fill, just stick the syringe in your seasoning liquid and pull up on the handle. To clean, the top screws off and only takes about a minute to wash. This is great for larger cuts of meat such as pork butt/shoulder, and injects with a lot of force. You will not have to worry about the syringe bending because of how well its made. It comes with to types of screw on syringes, so if you want to change them out, just unscrew them and screw on the other. This injector is a bit bigger than most, so smaller meats may be a challenge, but should still work great for you. The pork butt/ pulled pork that I just made came out better than it ever has because of this tool, and will definitely be using it for many years to come.

I needed an injector quickly and didn't have time to look all over. Since Home Depot is close, I tried there and found this product. It looked sturdy in the package, so I bought it. When I got it home, I was pleasantly surprised how well made it is. It's all metal and seems pretty heavy duty.

The injector works flawlessly. The plunger exhibits very little if any air intake when drawing liquid into the reservoir like some of the cheaper plastic flavor injectors due to high quality thick urethane gaskests and o rings. (A spares kit also comes with the injector which is nice).
While the two supplied needles are stainless, I'm not convinced the rest of the injector is (more than likely plated brass), but at least it appears to be "all metal" construction.
The biggest issue I see with this injector is how the manufacturer joins the thumb-ring to the plunger rod and again the plunger rod to the plunger itself. In both cases, they appear to be epoxy unions. (So, dishwashers may not be a good Idea). For the life if me I can't fathom why an engineer wouldn't thread both components onto the plunger shaft. With that being said, durability and service life are drawn into question.
If the plunger assembly were redesigned with threaded unions, the manufacturer cleaned the burrs and millings better prior to shipping and also came with a storage container this would be 5 star worthy. But hey, it still beats the worthless plastic varieties at a reasonable retail price.
