We were having a problem with very large spiders hanging around the house, weaving large webs under the overhangs and in the doorways. I had been using conventional insect spray all around the house trying to reduce their food source enough that they would leave on their own, but it just kept getting worse. Finally, I sprayed this Black Flag spider & scorpion killer in these areas, and by the next day I found very large dead spiders. Better yet, the webs have not returned.
This product is primarily labeled for indoor use, plus cracks & crevices in the outdoors. Since our house has large overhangs which prevent moisture from getting close to the foundation, I felt comfortable spraying it into the crack where the foundation meets the sidewalk along the edge of the house. That seems to be where our spiders spend much of their time. In addition, I sprayed around the entry door frames & around the basement windows. The can made it all around the (pretty large) house, but it took most of the can to do so.
The spiders are dead. My wife is happy, which makes me happy.

Every spring and every fall, and sometimes in between we get spiders, small ones middle size ones and of course large ones or as my daughter says monsters. Well meet the "Killer". Black Flag Spider and Scorpion Killer Aerosol Spray is the answer. This spray stops them in their tracks, or if they manage to get under something , they still die. Greatest spider killer I've ever used. Be sure to read the directions on the back of the can. You don't have to be close to the spider, this can sprays up to 5 feet.

This spray can works well, as expected. A very light spray application and the spiders are dead. The only reason I did not give it a five is that the sprayed product is such a fine mist in particle size (not in volume) that the slightest breeze blows it around...and often on to you. When spraying around a pool, the spray can be blown around and you will see oil film on the pool. Not good, but it does kill the spiders. I do not have scorpions, so I can't comment on that.

As an employee who works in the garden department, I am glad they got a spider killer that I actually recommend using.

Moving into a new house there were a handful of huge spiders. I needed something to kill them and fast. Other poisons I have used never work without having to drown them in it. This really does kill on contact so a few sprays does the trick. When tackling brown recluses in the back of the house, it worked just as fast. I'll never use another product again.

In the past, Black Flag Insect spray worked okay for my spider workshop infestation. However, it wasn't specialized and I needed to retreat every month or so. Now with this specialized spider spray, as stated, this treatment kills on contact. Time will tell if it last the rated 4 months before a re-treatment is needed. If it does, it'll be an improvement over what I've used in the past!

I have lots of Black Widows outside. This can says to spray into crevices or directly on spiders.. Since I used this in the daytime and Widows usually come out at night, I sprayed it into all the cracks and crevices where I've seen them. Hopefully, I will STOP seeing them at night. I only have them outside, so that is good. The spray comes out in a foam that you can easily spray into holes, etc. It says it kills on contact also. I have used Black Flag products before and never been disappointed. There was no odor and it is safe to spray on things.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Knocks them dead in about 3 seconds
I am impressed. With one small spray of the killer and they are dead before they can get away. Black widows are pretty fast, but the wind scorpions (AKA vinegaroos) are really fast, but they slow down the second they are sprayed, and dead 2 seconds later. It kills a lot of different spiders, but the black widows are the worst. I highly recommend this. Good stuff.
