Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had blown bulb issues - currently working I own this light because I switched all my tools to Bosch and wanted to use one type of battery in all my tools. When I got the light, it worked for about a week and then the bulb blew. Replaced it, got a couple days, I think I went through 6 bulbs before one held for more than a week, no reason they just went out. The one that is in there now works. No clue why, but it does. Praying it doesn't go out again. The light works okay when the bulb is working. My old Hitachi light was able to rotate to more positions, but this light is a bit more compact. It's bright enough. And it works with my batteries.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunatly still no LED option I do not recommend the Bosch CFL180 light due to poor design & poor reliability, specifically: the incandescent bulb is unnecessarily hot, draw unnecessarily high current and burns out unnecessarily fast (all of which could be solved if there were a LED bulb option).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from positionable, compact light. but with issues. I bought this light soon after it debuted, along with 4 other bosch 18 volt lithium-ion tools. First, the...  Good: compact, is easily positioned in a tight space, or otherwise. I like that it can be hung on a nail, or like object. run time is fair enough.( I mostly work in confined spaces, or, dimly lit areas, and MUCH prefer the light quality of Halogen/xenon bulbs over led, as the light quality( such as color fidelity ) is more important with some tasks than run time,  especially when doing small diameter color coded wiring, such as 18-24 awg wire ) Bad: Bulbs burn out WAY TOO often.( I believe it may be a heat issue, as it runs noticeably hotter than my other 18V lights) Also, a related issue, there isn't enough shock absorption, the bulbs shatter shatter more often than my brands lights, after taking a drop/fall.( and, because of these two issues, I cannot recommend this product until Bosch has fixed these problems. Period. )

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need LED The flashlight is good, not great. Good light production. Burns really hot, not very efficient. Technology is primitive. Bulbs are expensive and do not give long service life. Needs to have an LED bulb to extend short run time and extend bulb life expectancy. Not easy to hold with hand like most in this category.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great design, poor technology. I was shocked to see that that the Bosch work light in a Lithium kit was not using LED technology. They completely redesigned all the other aspects of the work light from their previous NiCad kits. Why in the world didn't they go LED. Work lights burn/break incandescent bulbs like crazy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bright, until the bulb blows ...which is often Bought the CFL 180 because switch to Bosch cordless and wanted all my cordless to be able to use the same batteries. Light is bright, compact, feels good. Turned it on, 15 seconds on, and the bulb blew. Opened it up and noticed that there was a backup bulb in there. Cool! Put it in, used the light for 1/2 hour and that bulb blew. Ordered 2 more. Those 2 have now blown as well. Have read reviews that report this problem, so it's not just my light being defective, something isn't right with the light. So now I carry my old Hitachi light (still on it's original bulb), battery and charger because the Bosch isn't reliable. Duoooh!
