Yes you can with the right tape cartridge. The TZeS135 12mm (0.47") White on Clear Tape with Extra Strength Adhesive is at least one option I found on the website

Where xo you get the right adapter for the PT-6100

Asked by: Mikey
If you go to the Brother web site: you can look up accessories and click on supplies and accessories and scroll to the bottom to locate the AD24 power transformer. Then click on where to buy and it will show you online sources and there is also a local purchase tab. Hope this helps

Can you center justify both lines on a 2 line label?

I have another Brother that only left justifies the label.
Asked by: Sean
I haven't figured out to do this automatically but after a few labels I was able to judge the balance fairly consistently

I needed to label a bunch of network cables, circuits and equipment. I had a Dymo Rhino at my disposal but it was to complicated to get it to do what I wanted. The P-touch allowed me to do two line labels with ease. It is now my go to labeler for anything I need to label at work, it is intuitive, easy to use and still has a lot of features and icons that I haven't even begun to experiment with. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Industrial Labeler with excellent value, functionality, and readily available refills We are a mechanical systems contractor and use this labeler for cables, pipes, and electrical panels, and general equipment labeling. This label maker is an incredible value and provides the functionality of much higher priced industrial labelers with easy to find refills at most Home Depot stores (in electrical department). The only downside is that the cutter is overly sensitive and can be damaged if you pull on the tape while printing -- so we had to downgrade from 5 stars. The cutter was damaged on one of the first ones we purchased, but Home Depot exchanged it no questions asked. If you buy supplies on-line, you save as much as 50% on refills ... $11 for refill tapes in contrast to the information provided in a negative review. Another reviewer condemned this label maker for using excessive tape on each end of labels and for labels that do not stick. The rationale was that refill tape is over $20. You can buy tapes for $17 at Home Depot and for half that price on-line. Perhaps there is an extra 3/4 inch on each end of tape label, but needed to clear the cutter. If you purchase the correct tape (extra strength adhesive) then it sticks to anything and is hard to remove from cables. A comparable high stick tape for other industrial labeler is more expensive. We have owned several of these and they perform as well as a $200 industrial label maker. They are so cost effective, every technician has one on his truck. Every once in awhile our office manager steals one to create file folder labels. The stores stock the standard laminated label, but you can also use the following tapes manufactured by Brother: Flexible ID, Extra Strength Adhesive, Non-Laminated, Iron-on Fabric, and Acid Free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great Hand Held solution I've used electronic print label makers before, but they have been large and needed to be put down on a flat surface to use them. This Brother P-Touch Label Maker seeks to address this problem by allowing 100% hand held use. The results were mixed, but it did accomplish the primary goal of being hand held. PROs Light enough for easy on the spot label making. Included loop on top for a lanyard to attach to your belt. Utilizes standard and readily available tape cartridges. Useful functions such as vertical and mirror print. Warning issued & printer stops if cutter activated during a print (which happened a few times) Lots of alternate non-alpha numeric characters available. CONs No lanyard or clip included to attach to belt. No case for storage. Batteries are not included. Takes 6 (six!) AAA batteries. Maxes out at 12mm tape width. Function menu is difficult to navigate due to it's length (15 sub-menus!) Very few Font style options. Font size sometimes gets shrunk based on text length. SUMMARY Comes with ZERO accessories. Won't work out of the box unless you supply 6 AAA batteries. Print quality is good, however style, font and text options are lacking. Menus are difficult to navigate and extremely lengthy. Overall, a nice handheld solution.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I have had no mechanical problems with this label maker. However, the machine unnecessarily wastes more label tape than it uses under "normal" operation (using the built-in cutter). Because label tape is quite expensive ($27.00 a roll). You will pay more for your labels than you will the label maker many times over depending on use. Not worth IT IMHO so I give this product a BIG thumbs down. The only thing this label maker gives you is professional looking print on a label that sticks. However, If you buy this label maker, make sure you buy a good set of scissors to go with it because you will end up trimming your own labels manually; Which slows down the process. One would be better off with a quality roll of masking tape and a sharpie.
