Customer Reviews

Serger Sewing Machine with Easy Lay In Threading is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 348.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good quality and warranty I never used a surger before. Out of the box, raised the thread tower, made sure the thread was not bound up, plugged it in and had a beautiful stich. I rethreaded the machine with white just to get it out of the way and after watching the YouTube video for the lower looper it was super easy. Light and easy to use. Lots of features and YouTube videos showing how to use it. I watched the videos before the purchase to make sure it was the machine for me.

I urge you to purchase if you want to take your sewing to the next level. It makes sewing knits a breeze, and really gives your finished garment a professional finish. Although you can do lots with a serger, I dont think this can replace your sewing machine. A little noisy, but it's performance far outweighs the noise. Besides you'll get used to it, when you see how fast you are completing items.

Never used a serger before n it looks challenging but can't wait to learn it to the fullest. Only problem is that both DVD instructional are horrible. They freeze, skip, n after running for a minute or two in every section, it goes straight back to the menu selection so with this said, the dads are useless and worthless. Just ordered a serger technique bible so I can learn all there is to learn. I'll write more once I get started. See you back here in the next two weeks or so with an update. My recommendation on this serger isn't possible to answer just yet so for now I'll just assume to say yes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with my purchase This is the first serger I've owned and I am pleased with how it makes my clothes look, more professional!. The only complaint I have is that the thread that came with kept breaking, not sure what kind of thread it was since there is no label. Since I read it runs through thread quickly, I wanted to use the provided thread up before I put on more expensive thread. Think this may have been a mistake... All in all, it is a good little machine, especially for my first one and the price was great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Concerned I bought this new 3 days ago. I wanted this so bad but there are concerning issues and I have to return it. The hand wheel is really hard to turn, like it is jammed. When threading, it sounds terrible, the very first guide sounds like it will shred the thread (it doesn't though). It sews perfectly, that's why I am confused. Not my first serger so I know this is not right. Sad. I still think this machine is great, I just think I received a troubled one, it happens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Longer Afraid of Surgers! WOW! This surger has changed my sewing life. With this surger, I no longer have to go through several steps to finish edges and make ruffles. I was afraid of the threading process as I have heard "horror stories" about threading surgers. What I found with this machine, is that it couldn't have been easier! With its color coded threading routes, threading this machine is very easy to learn. It is a real work-horse and because I am so happy with it I now own two!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An honest to goodness threadable serger I had to send this note to let you know how pleased I am with my 1034D. I have threaded at least 4 other name brand sergers and this is by far the easiest and most economical. I love the stitches and the instruction amanual doesn't require a PHD to understand the instructions. Thank you. I added this to my Brother sewing machine and my Brother Embroidery machine. All fine products with great customer service.
