Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gearz Easy Solution To Drain Water Away From Your Foundation
I have this installed on the back side of my house attached to the drain spout so the water is drained away from the foundation. As you can see from the photos the pipe can be extended bent or angled so it is very versatile. I gave it a four star rating because when I extended it there was a hole in one of the ribs but it's not a deal breaker. The pipe also has a large end and a smaller end so it will fit different size downspouts.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MeInCT Not the same as shown in the ad :(
The item shown in the online ad is what they USED to sell...and that actually WAS a great product. What is actually in the store is a different design that makes it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to interconnect multiple spouts. When you follow the directions on the spout and the sticker, cutting off the squared area and try to insert one rounded end into the other, you can't. Both rounded ends are exactly the same diameter, which makes it impossible to feed one end into the other...maybe the Hulk can do it, but no normal person can. the old design was easy to connect...I really wish they'd bring back the old one...if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by masterbuilder123 Cannot join two of these.... not possible
To confirm..... there is no physical way to properly join two of these products. Cutting-off the rectangular ends results in two ends that are exactly the same diameter, and will NOT mate together. Simply not possible without "special" (meaning "highly inconvenient, and difficult" ) effort. The ONLY viable options are (1) to purchase the extension pieces that do not have the rectangular ends.... these are the by-design mating pieces. But Lowes & HD do not carry them in my area. ...or (2) buy std black corrugated drain line (in plumbing dept, usually, 10ft lengths), and insert the flex-a-spout end (after cutting off the rectangular part).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carl Great purchase ever.
This Downspout Extension is a handy accessory that helps your downspout and gutters empty water away from your home and your foundation. Flexible connector is very easy to install. It helps prevent erosion near your foundation by diverting water flow to another area. It is made from dark brown plastic for durability, it also has a low profile and be hidden by landscaping. Compatible with all standard downspouts.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin15 Downspout Extention
Product material is good and durable. Hard to get information about how to connect two of them together. Cut lines on each end imply that cutting off ends will allow joining them but not the case. Thus now I cannot return the products and it seems I must go looking for a connector piece.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by signet Simple But Adaptable Downspout Extension
This is a simple, well-made product that is extremely useful in carrying water captured by the gutter and downspout away from the foundation. I connected it easily to my metal downspout ans was able to stretch the accordion-like vinyl extension out as well as bend it to form a curve which fit the application best. I think this would be great for almost anyone to use as it really can be adjusted to fit your situation and even buried in the ground if desired. The product comes in a few colors, but I chose brown to blend withe the ground. It is a dark cocoa brown. It fit snuggly on the downspout and did not come loose during a heavy rain. I believe the vinyl material will hold up well and not crack like plastic products.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by zFatherhen Solved my problem
A 2nd story downspout was dumping water right next to the flashing on a 1st story roof which then caused a small leak in the middle of the garage. This extension was just enough to get the water away from the flashing. It was a little difficult to install because the plastic on the 4 sides of the connection curve in, yet that is also what holds it on. I have had another like this for maybe 15 years on another spout and it is still going strong.
