American Originals Copper Dark Oak 3/4 in. T x 3-1/4 in. W x 84 in. L Solid Hardwood Flooring (22 sq. ft. / case) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, love the color I bought 10 boxes to cover 200 sq ft. and ended up with about half a box left. There were very few damaged boards and I used those to finish rows off. The color is perfect and the boards fit together very well. My recommendation to any DIY'er is to buy a floor nailer when installing your hardwood floors, completely worth it.

After installing 2 hardwood floors, both 3/4", from Bruce, I found that this one, which was at least $2.00 sq. ft. more, had more twisted, damaged boards than the cheaper one. While the look is fine, Bruce needs to raise quality control. There is no reason to spend approximately $4.70/sq.ft when it's worse than $3.20/ft. I thought it would be better quality. It's not.

Took 2 weeks and turned out looking good. Have them down for a month now and no scratches. Only complaint is the inconsistencies of the lengths of the floors. One box will have nothing but short lengths and another will have long lenths. Overall my wife loves the floors.

We laid it finally in December. Was not originally sure about gloss finish but is perfect in kitchen. So easy to maintain. Have moved things across it and dropped heavy objects and did not do any damage. So far, love it.

We have had it in the Kitchen and hallway for over a year. I bought more to put in three bedrooms. The board appear to be three layered pieces. This makes it very easy to take one and make a transition piece that is either two toungs or two grooves. I had to do that to flow from the hallway to the bedroom. Then you do not need a "transition" piece between rooms. What I dislike about it is that some of the boards came out of the box warped. However, I was able to us most of these by cutting and using them as starting a row, ending a row, or in a closet. Also, the product does scratch pretty easy if you move something fairly heavy. I put felt casters on the kitchen chairs and I am still getting indentations from a 250 pound person scooting the chair back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware > > Bruce flooring shipped me multiple boxes of defective factory seconds at full price. I purchased approximately 500 sq of Bruce Coastal Gray solid hardflooring. When my installer started working, we noticed that one box had many pieces of damaged wood. We did our best to hide these pieces under cabinets and other areas out of the way. When the job was finished there were a couple of boxes of overage so I brought them back to the Home Depot. At this time, I learned that some of the boxes had different sku numbers and weren't even sold at Home Depot! These boxes are called Timberland (found next to the sku number and are packaged in the exact same "lifetime warranty" boxes). After researching, I discovered that Bruce sells these boxes for less than half the price because of the defects. I contacted Bruce who admitted fault at the distribution level but then blamed me for allowing the flooring to be installed. I was offered a small amount of flooring. The offer would not even cover ripping up the area in question. Would not purchase another product from Bruce again.
