The Click-Lock flooring went together easily without breaking any pieces. It looks amazing and we are very happy with the installation and look. It does take time to settle since it is a floating floor. Make sure to leave the 3/8 inch gaps on all sides so the floor can float. Settling takes a few weeks but is well worth the wait. It is very durable also. There were no marks left on it even after rolling a heavy refridgerator across the floor, on accident.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BeeToyn Easy to install
The product is quite easy to install mainly due to the distressed appearance of the finish. No need to select pieces as they all seem to match well. 8 boxes arrived with virtually no damaged or substandard pieces. Recommended calculation of sq. footage is about right. Installation was fun. Interim results are in photo.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Spouse Too many warped boards
The flooring is beautiful and fairly easy to install. This is our third order of this wood. HOWEVER; this particular order of 18 boxes had so many warped and defective boards that we have a full box of bad boards so far. .Still two boxes unopened and one room to go. Hopefully there will be enough good boards to lay the final room. I will be contacting customer service to hopefully get a refund for the defective merchancise.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nate Stunning and High Quality Finished Product
We purchased 8 boxes of the Ponderosa Oak to finish our kitchen. We are ordering more for our entry way and guest bath. I was aware of the quality of Bruce flooring from laying my parents' floor in Gunstock Oak (which you can usually find in store and is a terrific product with more of a reddish hue). The Ponderosa style is worth the price and more. Out of 8 boxes, only two boards were less than 100% perfect, which is highly acceptable to me. There is a lot of natural variations in the color - some boards contained strains of black which almost gave the effect of tiger wood. In the end it turned out beautifully as we have black appliances and it brought the colors together. The sample picture on the product page is a good representation of 85% of the boards. Every piece is different, and when placed together each masterpiece of a floor is unique. One thing is certain... this style is versatile and beautiful. The distressed look is wonderful to blend in with whatever my 1 year old will throw at it and it does not look intentionally distressed. It's quality all around. Make sure you spend the money to get the matching thresholds.
