I've read a few reviews on this combo kit. Some people seem to be out of touch with reality, giving only bad reviews or few stars. In my experience...a professional carpenter with over 20 years under my belt, I must say this is a good small, CHEAP combo kit. If you want bigger, more power...pay more and get it. And as far as being loud...obviously some people have never been in an automotive or woodworking shop. This is excellent for crafts or bike tires, and the brad nailer/ stapler is a good bonus.

I bought this to use on a base board project. The nailer worked great. As far as the reviews about noise, ITS A COMPRESSOR!! Power tools make noise. If you want silence, buy a hand tire pump. I bought it for the nailer and general home maintenanace. It does good with filling my tires, air gun to blow the garage out, and the nailer was amazing! Not to mention its light weight and space saving.

It works good and it is light weight, but I had problem using air wreaches and even filling up a tire it took way to long. If you are looking to use this for your hobbie type of work it is good, but if you are a semi-pro or above spend the extra chas and get a more prowerfull one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DIYDave Good tool for a homeowner
This is a good tool for the average DIYer, it is NOT a professional use tool (and the company does not advertise it as such). The small size is great for moving from room to room and stowing away in a corner of the garage or basement. The included nailer/stapler is not the same quality as the Campbell Hausfeld 18g nailer/stapler you can buy separately BUT it is pretty good for small-time projects. The small compressor size does limit flexibility (i.e. you aren't able to use a full-size paint sprayer to paint your house but can use a small sprayer or airbrush with ease) but if you need to inflate stuff and also power most nailers/staplers this can do it. I have had a Campbell Hausfeld inflater for over a decade and it has been solid as a rock, even after years of rolling around the trunk of 3 different cars, I expect the same from this tool. Again, if you want to run a sprayer, pneumatic wrench, sander or other high air volume tools this is NOT for you, get a full size compressor. But, if you do some remodeling, house repair, or small paint jobs this is a GREAT buy.
PS: I did buy mine at Lowes (sorry HD) when it was on sale for $60...Lowes does not list it anymore so I am thinking Campbell Hausfeld may be discontinuing this model.

I don't use it to fill tires, but I do use it for trim. I like the fact that the gun is light and I use it for door, window, and base molding. Its good for me because I do trim work occasionally, and for the price, you can't beat it. I paid $76.00 and it comes with a lot of cool accessories. The only negative thing is the hose is to short, so I just bought a 25 footer and its good to go.

I gave this as a gift to my husband and he loved it... It has many assessories to help him do many jobs. He also used the compress to fill a car tire that had a flat in our driveway. Very good

The little brad nailer worked great and the air compressor would be perfect if that's all you used it for. Worked good for wheel barrow or bike tires. It took 20 minutes to fill my truck tire. Loud as heck in the garage. The cheap plastic hose cracked and needed to be replace. Finally, I left it in a moisture rich shed for a couple of weeks and the pump ceased.
